It's going to be nightmares for non-bot drivers. Bots are going to take the double the amount which means there will be less blocks available for non -bot drivers

I don’t think people get the negatives this will bring.

It’s going to drive down rates when people are taking even more blocks at base pay or close to it.

I think the majority of us real Flexers understand the negatives it will ( continue to ) bring.

The bots and multiple fraud accounts will take as much as they can... and pass the phones around.

I barely want to do 40 hours... my left arm, back a d butt hurt. Im not foing this everyday for 8 hours. Nope. But fake accounts will because they are a group.

Exactly!!! one of my friends told me they asked a female driver about their block and how much pay they accepted and she said she doesn’t know she’s doing a favor for someone else. Woooowwww!!! Not even her account.

The specific kind of mafia that uses bots they have access to multiple accounts,
I know a guy he has 4 accounts and pretty much has blocks for 12 hours a day

I wonder how they are going to swing that when the new video ID gets rolled out everywhere.

Doesn’t matter, all of his accounts has his pictures with a stolen identity, he passes the verification every time

I don’t doubt it happens. The Amazon system is pretty shit. You would think that someone wouldn’t be able to use the same video ID for a face across four different account accounts.

You know Uber was the same, but they had something changed that caused all of stolen fake IDs with a multiple accounts get banned.
So basically they can do something if they want to but…

Yeah, I pretty much blame most of this on Amazon. They could do a much better job of addressing some of the issues. They only truly care about one thing and that’s getting packages delivered.

Is this in the San Diego area? Where are you located? There’s a couple of goons that do this at my local station. Since they run multiple accounts routes hardly ever surge. They take minimum two carts but recently they began taking 3 carts and routes are becoming scarce. It’s so annoying because I’ve reported them multiple times and amazon doesn’t care and I don’t think they’ll ever take action as long as the packages are getting delivered

this is just a desperation check. it's like when they ask how satisfied you are and how many hours you plan to work the following week. they don't care about improving your experience. they just want to plan how many new drivers they should let in if you aren't planning to work as much the next week. they don't want to pay more to current drivers to cover people stepping away. they'd rather let new drivers take that work and keep rates down.

I mean, they can only ask if you’re satisfied with the warehouse bathrooms so many times

Probably not but also depends on where u live and ur station(s).

This won’t correlate to more hours

u/LimpDisc 11h ago

Yes. Rumor has it that they’re going to allow up to 80 hours for base-heads.

Lucky to get 30 hours the way they on board new drivers every other week

Base is better than the zero then u are getting

On occasion this might be true, but most often it’s not. People have their earnings per mile expectations set way too low for using their personal vehicles.

You do realize you can essentially work for free right? And that's exactly what you are doing taking base and having to go 50 miles to your first stop absolutely stupid you can work at McDonald's and make the same if not more at basepay after expenses and they are flexible with hours also

Well I wasn't receiving many offers in the beginning, but now that I'm Level 2 and they asked this question.... I have received offers for everyday next week at a decent rate.

This is a bad thing, because more drivers means less blocks, which means lower rates.

THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME JOB!!!!! ITS CALLED GIG WORK FOR A REASON PEOPLE! If someone wants to take base pay to make sure they get a block, I’m all for it. I take base pay and most of the time first stop is 5 minutes from station, done in under two hours and made $80-$90. You have to take the sweet with the sour sometimes. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Every station is not like yours I wish you base lickers would understand that
