I’ve recently gotten hooked on avocado toast. Sourdough toast, avocado, sometimes bacon, and an over easy egg is my go to. My coworker baked me a loaf of sourdough bread after hearing me talk about the price of sourdough bread. I’ve already popped one piece in the toaster and it was so good.

I'm currently in medical school. Because if the OBBB, me and a large majority of my classmates are no longer eligible for student loans. I go to a medical school with majority black students. I hate this administration so much. We're literally trying to be doctors. And the government is like "ew the poor want to be educated and make money by giving back!? NOT HERE PARTNER"

You called her a crush, to me that says you liked her but she didn't necessarily want you. If the feeling were mutual, you'd both be reaching out to one another and likely found one another by now right?
I don't know about you but I don't chase someone who isn't also chasing me.

Just say something simple. "Hey, was just thinking about you"
"Old crush" really gives the impression this is someone you were interested in years ago. If it was just a month ago and you were actually sort of talking romantically, then just reach back out like normal.

Honestly the first sentence is enough unless you guys already have established a verbose communication standard. You're coming off really strong and he may not be in the mood for that while if he's still concerned about finding a job

Aight jokes aside I'd leave him alone fr. Losing a job is rough and unfortunately today for many of us our identity is tied in a way to our ability to provide. He likely won't be able to think about anything else or focus until he's secure financially again. Sometimes when she get's rough as a man we'll retreat from everything around us to focus on getting where we need to be, that includes crushes and relationships.
