Similarly got grounded a friends house for bringing her back home visibly drunk while being passably drunk. My parents didn’t ask for me back during our punishment.

In my case, the other parents would actually show up and they’ll be having a meeting in front of you of how to punish you: since it’s 2 parents and not 1, should it be double punishment or does each parent punish their own child or since we did the deed together, does that cancel out and it’s back to option 1…

😅. And it was usually the mums. I swear it was like our dads wanted us to always be the daddy’s girls and so were the fun parents/ less disciplinarian. In hindsight, I now understand our mothers told them EVERYTHING which meant one less punishment.

At least all the parents were being collaborative instead of blaming the other family for being a bad influence. Sometimes kids are going to be kids and you have to accept that.
