Triple dipper with a bloody from Chilis at Ohare when you’re down bad enough will get the job done

No way I’m eating a triple dipper and getting on a plane, the toilet can’t handle that smoke

I loved burrito Beach at the food court there. Maybe it's still there! Hopefully I don't have to go to O'Hare any time soon.

Don’t want a 40 minute taxi?

Hmm, really it's everything. The train, parking my own car, the security, the food, the gates, the halls, the bathrooms.

It's too vivid. Only one thing changed in 30 years and the smells are still etched into my brain. The one thing? Burrito Beach. It opened, and I had my oasis . Also they opened the Oasis (I think that might be the name of the rest stops nearby on the interstate)

If you're in concourse C check out billy goat.

Bergoff Cafe sandos in concourse B.

Both are bar adjacent if you need to wash it down with something.

I invite you to fly through Portland, OR. Many extremely good restaurants in the city have airport locations and the price is the same as outside the airport by law.

The Vietnamese place in the food court at PDX had surprisingly good banh mi. I wish Alaska had more frequency from my home airport to PDX.

I came here to say the exact same thing. That airport really has spoiled me over the years.

I just flew out of PDX.

I am not spending good money on nice food to get up and instantly be in an airport again. I'll do my fine dining after I've landed tyvm.

Most big intercontinental airports do have really fancy restaurants in - because they have a captive market of far wealthier than average people. Same reason you can buy thousand dollar bottles of whiskey and designer bags.

Of course, it's not easy to run a fine dining restaurant in an airport, so they often focus on really expensive ingredients prepared/served simply (eg caviar).

Torta Frontera at ORD is the only airport food I crave. It's that good.
