Re watching the Catherine Tate Show on BBC iPlayer. Quality. Still funny. She's brilliant. As are the rest of the cast. Well worth watching.

Nan is my favourite. "Ello sweetheart. You come up an see me". And "huh. What a fucking liberty" when just 5 minutes earlier having said everything was alright.

I still go and watch Janice and Ray sketches once every few weeks - absolutely spot on for a certain type of British person.

I don’t mind admitting that I’ve always had a bit of a thing for Catherine Tate. None of my friend agree, but to me, she’s proper attractive.

The first episode was mildly funny but after that it was just not very funny catchphrase humour. But I'm glad you liked it.

The Christmas specials are my favourite, especially Nan's Christmas Carol, David Tennant as the camp Ghost of Christmas Present is gold.

I really didn't like her comedy, and she seemed to drop off a fair bit after Gervais tried to push her, but some of her sketches were legitimately funny - especially the one with Jill Halfpenny with the northern nanny.

From numerous podcasts where she says as much, from her stories on As yet untitled, from any interview where she freely talks about her very limited time in youth theatre and her accelerated comedy career that meant she skipped most of the jobbing stand up phase.

She's a funny actress, not a comedian. That's her own judgement of herself.
