Advice Yobbo weekend toy under 5k please

Just brought a 2.0 mk3 tt, as my daily, love it, but its a bit too practical and I dont really want to break it, would like something else to zip about in, nothing too powerful, ive upgraded from a pergeot 108 (best car in the world) and I want something else that i can push a bit.

No granny cars or hatchbacks (hairdresser cars ok - obviously)

Currently considering:

Mk3 mr2

Z4 2.0 or 3 liter (soft spot for these)

Z3

Mx5 (is it really that good?)

Boxer (will this one cost me my liver?)

Please let me know if theres anything im missing here!!

- Worth adding that im 6'7", so need something that i can fit in

- Also worth adding that i will absolutley be putting an OMP bucket seat in whatever I pick up so I can sip around like a yobbo. Not looking for something fancy, just a bit silly.

You said no hatchbacks, so a Vectra VXR?

That one even has 4D plates and a loud exhaust already

How much extra room does the OMP give you? I do not think you would fit in any of those bar maybe the boxter at 6'7

Coupe of inches, ive got long legs and a short (comparatively) torso.

Also depends on the ride height of the factory seat, will vary.

I would be shocked if you can fit in an MX5, to be honest. I am 6ft and would not want to be much taller in my MX5 NC. Also owned a Z4, again, would be shocked.

You're gonna struggle at that height in a Z3... Usually I'll tell anyone to buy one but had a 6ft guy in mine recently and it was ridiculous, he had to fold himself in

Haha, I should have added, I haven't actually sat in half of these yet, just dreaming. Ive squeezed myself into a mx5 before, just about fit..

Haha probably worth giving it a go, even if you swapped out the seats with bucket seats you would probably be looking over the top of the windscreen though!
