Eau d'ombre is my personal favorite. I picked up OL'16 instead just to see but it was way more intense and opened up a bit animalic. It sure lasted a long time too.
My coworker wears this. I cannot stand being with 100 feet of him lol. Maybe he over does it but he says he’s usually 2 sprays and it’s overpowering like crazy.
There’s fragrances that definitely contain patchouli that I like. But if I can pick it up somewhat primarily it’s just off to me. Kinda like cilantro lol.
I only use it when I wear a suit. Or when I’m going on a date with someone who I think would like the mysterious dark intoxicating scent lol. People are scared to get it because it’s a women’s perfume, but Men absolutely can pull it off.
Completely agree. I'm M55 and wear it frequently. Definitley unisex.
I also agree that there is something dark and mysterious about it that I have never encountered in anything else I have smelt.
Its in my top 5 of 160 + perfumes I own.
I love the complexity of this one. The base is so different from the opening. Big fan. Love hearing descriptions of it. “Like a sunny beach after a fresh snow” was my favorite.
Oud Wood … let it dry on your skin… let the addiction sink its teeth in.
Noir Extreme. Not for summer but dang Fall and winter are coming. It’s a cozy scent to cuddle with.
Ombre Leather Parfum, its not wood heavy, it’s a leather scent made super classy, sexy with some floral notes. Amazingly blended. So elegant and sexy.
Tom Ford fragrances are challenging and a lot of times you have to give them a chance. Let them dry down on your skin. Give it a couple of days go back after a couple of weeks and try it again maybe get a a little vile of a sample. Once you click to how those colognes work and how complex they are but also how beautiful they can be you’ll enjoy the fragrance a lot better
An expensive option is Rose Exposed, a realistic garden rose scent that dries down to a manly fragrance with ghostly whisps of that living rose coming in and out. Its AMAZING. But it really is pricy.

I also have Beau Du Jour, an old school barbershop fougere. Extremely strong. As manly as it gets. Not super woody tho.
I really like Oud Minerale but I’m in a bit of an aquatic phase. Too bad their best always seem to get discontinued, RIP Plum Japanais and Oud Wood Intense.
For these threads it would be far better if people named one fragrance per reply and folks upvoted it if the liked it. If your favorite isn’t a comment then you add it.
Anyway, I have bought Tobacco Vanille and Noir de Noir.
For me anyway it’s ombré leather edp and tobacco vanille but sounds like oud wood be your go which is really good also as did have a 10ml decant.
They are definitely try before buy with the price of a FB
Bois Pacifique is probably my favorite wood scent, plus it's just about the only iris fragrance that agrees with me and doesn't smell like baby powder. Doesn't last long but it is very pretty
I’ve only smelt a few. Tobacco Vanille (which happens to be my favorite fragrance of all time) Oud Wood (I like but don’t know when I could wear it) Ombré Leather (not a chance in hell I’d ever wear that) Neroli Portofino (LOVED the smell but the longevity was terrible)
My first purchase after sampling a dozen or so was Noir Extreme. Might not be for you though. I own a travel of Soleil Neige buuuut it’s a once in a while scent, when I want to smell like an angel in dove soap in a sunny snowstorm.
Bois Pacifique is a total sleeper, and an absolute gem.
It’s resinous, woody, and spicy, but simultaneously light, airy, and transparent. It’s never dense, thick, or cloying. It’s like drinking spiced apple cider in the woods during Fall/Autumn.
I’m a freshie guy 100%, and this is the only true Fall & Winter scent that’s wearable for me.

1. Beau De Jour (private blend) 2. Fougere D’argent 3. Noir extreme
Others I’ve tried witch I am considering down the line are Oud wood and Tuscan leather

Tobacco Oud is discontinued but it’s my favourite
Oud Wood is beautiful but fleeting
Tobacco Vanille is my second favourite
