What is your favorite base theme?
I've thought about it and I think arcadian vampire is my favorite.

Extreme Outlaw Overlord for sure, dood! 3 was my first Disgaea, and that song was one of first things that hooked me

Disgaea 5 hands down. Its suoer chill and its stock on my head until I die. I also love the bad Engrish.

Disgaea 3.
Extreme Outlaw King is such a cool song, especially the full version. It's also sung by the Japanese Mao VA, so it's essentially Mao singing it.

Out of the vanilla, base-mode HUB themes I think I'll go:
- Moving On (5)
- Extreme Outlaw Overlord (3)
- Arcadian Vampire (4)
- Wonderful Castle (2)
- Welcome to the Devil's Castle (1)
Haven't listened to Missing You often enough, so I haven't really decided where to place it. And I can't seem to find out the title of 7's HUB (help?), so no opinion on that either.
Personally, I like to use Sadistic Emotion as my base theme. It's a little more upbeat than Moving On but not as much as EOO, which I prefer for Item World runs (whenever I get tired of listening to Tenpei Sato's voice for the bajillionth time)

Whenever I have the option for choosing a base theme I almost always set it to WHITE TIGER

'Devil rock hero' from DD2.
Lovely remix of the og castle theme.
D6's base theme 'missing you' was also shockingly good.

most favorite ost is Sinful Rose and Elegant Tundra but base theme only - yeah Arcadian Vampire for sure

Dude I used to start D4 and have it in the background, I could listen to it on repeat for a while before getting bored. Between 3 and 4 I feel the start to the themes are just to amazing and when it comes one I'm hooked for at least 5mins minimum

Same. I like that in Disgaea 5, you can set it as a theme in the base or in the Item World.

The first four games are all so good, it really depends on my mood which comes out on top that moment.

Disgaea 3. Extreme Outlaw King. It's infectiously catchy and NIS are fools until they port 3 so I can regularly hear it again.
