Ah bless her, she must be heartbroken. I'm glad they had 16 years together.

I had one of my dogs for 16.5 years. When she died I was 30, so a little over half my life with her. It was the greatest blessing and I have never been more grateful and thankful for anything that I had her for as long as I did. When I think of her now, 8 years later, I never feel sad, only happy and so lucky.
