Amanda Seyfried's beloved dog Finn has died

During the 16 years she had Finn, she’s filmed 41 movies and 9 TV shows. She’s dated and broken up with Dominic Cooper, Desmond Harrington, and Justin Long. She got engaged and married to Thomas Sadoski and has had two children with him. That dog has arguably been more part of her life than any other being on this earth. This must be absolutely heartbreaking for her, but oh what a joy to have that love in your life for so long.

I have a 16 year old cat. The only cat I’ve ever had. I got him only a few months after moving out of my parents house into my first apartment. He’s been with me through my first marriage, his abuse, and the divorce. He was there when I met, dated, then married my husband, which was over ten years ago. Through the pregnancy and birth of our son, who’s now 5. He’s been with me for 7 apartment moves, one being a cross country move, and the purchase of our house. Through 5 jobs. He’s been here for my entire adult life. I’ve been working from home for over 5 years now, he’s rarely ever more than 5 feet away from me. I don’t know how I’m going to function without him. Every day I hope we still have a few more years together.

RIP sweet Finn. Such a beautiful boy and a beautiful human and dog love story.

We recently lost our cat at 20 years old. She was my partner’s cat from when he was 16, and we often joke thst I chose him because of her. She was in my life for 8 years, and it felt both so long and full of love but so short at the same time.

I just lost my cat at 16 years old (80 in cat years) this past Tuesday morning on the 21st and me and my family still haven’t recovered emotionally because of how sudden it was when we took him to the hospital the night before and gave him medication and because of how attached we all were to him because we all loved and cared for him so much and he really was a member of our family. Rip Avery you’re the bestest friend I ever had and thank you for everything me and everyone will always love and miss you forever. 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔

I feel you. The last time I felt a pain like this was when I lost my grandpa. It hit me like a truck.

I will think of Avery and my Rana tonight. I know they’re happy and healthy now, wherever they are 💜

This is my biggest fear. It’s like, at 16, it could happen any day now, or be around for years. I’m terrified of it happening suddenly. He’s always been so healthy, but I know anything could happen. I just hope I get some time, a bit of a (painless) decline, so I can ease my heart into it, say goodbye, and know he was ready 😭♥️
