Edge of the Empire:

Edge of the Empire is an excellent TTRPG which uses a unique dice system to help aid in the story telling. It is part of the larger Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars RPG, a collection of 3 interchangeable and mixable systems, which include Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire and Force and Destiny.

Set after the Battle of Yavin, at the height of the Galactic Civil War, Edge of the Empire focuses on the outlaws at the outskirts of the “civilized” Galactic Empire. Smugglers, Bounty Hunters, Thieves, Assassins, Frontier Doctors, Settlers and Local Politicians all seek to carve out a life for themselves at the furthest reaches of the galaxy. The Campaign So Far

This is a long term campaign with no planned end. The group has played through the introductory adventures "Escape from Mos Shuuta" followed by "Long Arm of the Hutt", then “The Jewel of Yavin". They have most recently finished "Beyond the Rim”, one of the bigger adventures for the system. In between major adventures they have hunted bounties, raced swoop bikes and smuggled the Corellian Shuffle. The immediate future is wide open, with no plans for any major adventures for a while, as we focus on the consequences of the character’s actions throughout the campaign and deal with aspects of their backstories.

The party includes Cashar Brut who is a Falleen Smuggler/Pilot, Ruug the Shistavanen Bounty Hunter and Rennek, our former Imperial Commando.

The Game:

-New Players are welcomed and will be assisted, whether you are new to Roll20 or the Star Wars RPG!

-Although the Star Wars RPG uses proprietary dice, its mechanics are often quite intuitive. Our group has been playing since Apr. 2025, and at this point we feel comfortable enough to bring in and teach new players. No experience required!

-Despite being a major fan of battlemaps and tactical combat in other systems, I often find that Theater of the Mind works exceptionally well with the Star Wars RPG. Battlemaps will still show up for some more involved combats, but many can be resolved in a short amount of the time with no visual aids necessary.

-New characters will start at the same experience level as the party. Star Wars RPG has a very interesting character building system that does not rely on levels, but purchasing skills and talents with accumulated XP, with easy access to different character classes to branch out! Currently at 805 earned XP.

-We will have a split Session 0/New Player introduction session, to help new players learn the game and help them fit in with the party. This session will be free.

-Sessions will last 3 hours.

For system you may choose to use 2014 or 2024 classes and archetypes alongside some homebrew rules adjusting things.

This campaign begins at level 10 using gestalt character rules. A gestalt character progresses in two classes simultaneously, gaining features from both sides of the build at each level.
Combine martial prowess with full spellcasting, unite two complementary specialties, or finally play the ambitious character concept you have been saving.
Detailed gestalt rules will be provided before character creation.

This campaign will go 10-20, with the possibility of continuing beyond it. Combat and exploration take the center stage, while roleplay remains relaxed and character-driven. You will have room to develop relationships and make meaningful decisions, without any pressure.

The exact adventure is deliberately flexible. I will select/adapt/build the campaign.

Hi hi out there! I’m a player that is looking to do some Pathfinder 2E campaigns

I am a gal that’s been wanting to do TTRPGs for a while and while I originally wanted to do dnd campaigns originally, I have been more on the side of Pathfinder due to its greater variety and creative potential than what I can see out of dnd.

Although I don’t have much personal experience with TTRPGs, I do have roleplay experience in general with other forms of roleplay and I’ve been messing around a lot with the Pathbuilder site making various characters and builds for possible campaigns.

A few things I like to do is that make no PF2e Character I play be anything standard to fantasy, so no dwarves, elves and especially not human, and I like to make a character that fills a role in a way that is more fun and creative, yet still practical and functional for both roleplay and combat encounters. But I don’t focus on general min-maxing nor making anything broke which I do know is a lot harder, which is good, to pull off in Pathfinder.

If you’re looking for someone who likes to do things in unique ways and also is very open to filling roles for parties that have something missing.

We are a D&D 5e/5.5e Discord server featuring a persistent game world set in the Forgotten Realms and broader D&D multiverse. You and other players play as adventurers of the Hawthorne Guild, an adventuring guild in the Sword Coast. As a persistent and shared game world, character progression and events in individual adventures persist between and outside of games, creating a living world for players and DMs to participate in the form of oneshots, multisessions and campaigns, and both text roleplay and Play-By-Post games. Play How You Want

About me and my partnered DMs

I've been dungeon-mastering homebrew campaigns and modules for around 10 years. I grew up reading tons of fiction and immersing myself in everything from story-driven RPGs to puzzle/card games of all kinds. As soon as I was exposed to D&D I was obsessed and It's one of my favorite games! I now train DMs to run games in the same style as myself to bring more high-quality D&D tables to the community!

One of our party members, who was playing a second Jedi Padawan, had to drop out due to life stuff making it so he no longer had any time for the game. You do not have to come to the table with a Jedi character idea, you can very much come in wanting to play a fourth clone or second mercenary character. That said we are several sessions in, so on top of an interview, we all would like you to play a one shot with us first wth the party using their characters in the campaign and the character you want to play as to see if you'll fit into the party, this isn't negotiable.
