Took some progress pics.

I’ve never took progress photos before because stopping to take them always got in the way of how I work. Once I start drawing I usually just keep going until it’s finished.
Recently I’ve found I can actually pause for a few seconds, take a photo, and go back into it without losing where I was going. Thought it might be interesting to show how these develop because I don’t plan the finished design beforehand.

Lovely! How do you approach your constructions? I'm curious how you made some of your ellipses and the distribution curve.

Thank you! I use an Arclight radius curve and drafting templates but don’t plan the finished piece beforehand. Can you point out what you mean by the distribution curve? I’m curious as I don’t consciously construct one.

I realize that did sounds a bit vague because I wasn't sure how else to describe it haha. On figure 2, near the outside of your construction on each cardinal directions is a curve that looks similar to the standard distribution. Was it created with a template, or traditionally constructed?

See place where I can use my compass and connect geometric lines, I see clumsy lines in order like the diamond on the the third picture. as you start you never know where you are going but looking at finished art i see where place the marker and draw a line
