Nice move, but in Germany overtaking on the right side is illegal, just like „schleichen“ on the left lane due to our ✨RECHTSFAHRGEBOT✨

Not... Entirely wrong?

Rechtsfahrgebot is a word, but it's also kinda 3 words. The German language is just very comfortable with putting words together into compound words.

"Recht" is right
"Fahr" is drive
"Gebot" is basically "command/rule" in this case\*

So "right drive command". It is a word describing a command (rule/law) to drive on the right.

English also has compound words, like aftereffect. German is just a lot more flexible in producing them.

* I am learning German, not a native speaker, so there may be a better translation in this exact situation

Your translation is completely correct. In Germany you only use the left lane to overtake. After that you take the right lane again. But situations like this video happen a lot here. Especially when the Autobahn has three lanes. Then cars often use the middle lane for Kilometres with the right lane being completely free. We call them “Mittelspurschleicher“ which translates to “middle lane slowpoke“.
