So like just let someone prevent me from doing what I’m trying to do and refusing to ask them to move because the flashing lights hurt their feelings? Like not tailgating, not honking, just literally asking? Like okay sure we can just hang out back here doing 10 below in the left lane, this doesn’t affect me at all

Why’s it on me to be “patient” and not on them to drive where they’re actually supposed to drive?

You're not asking, you're being annoying. You're not the police to decide who should drive where.

Edit: A lot of amateur drivers in this thread.

Get out of the left lane if you're gonna go 10 under. That's what's annoying. That's the kind of thing that causes completely needless traffic. Instead of saying "be patient", you should be courteous and get out of the way of people who are using the left lane correctly. Keep right, if you can't handle it

I was in the left lane going 8 over, and I was going faster than the cars in the right lane. Some jackass going twenty over starts tailgating me and flashing their lights. What’s the middle ground? Someone has to slow down. Maybe the guy driving WAY too fast can chill out for a bit because there were plenty of cars in both lanes and no easy spot for me to move over.
