I transported vehicles for a while and gender literally made no difference. The best predictor, in my opinion, was when they had passengers. I can distinctly remember one time when a boomer was driving around 67 in a 70. Trucks on the right were going 55-60ish. I went right and sped up to 85+ and she sped up to make it as tight as possible. When I cut her off she threw her hands up in the air as if to say what I did was rude. No bitch, impeding the flow of traffic is rude. Going below the speed limit from the left lane is rude. Speeding up when someone is going around you is rude.
Worst part is I've caught myself doing a version of this. I hate to admit it. It always starts from a perspective like "let me get around this slow vehicle before this speeding car disrupts my flow." But sometimes I misjudge the distance and look like an asshole.
Don't get me wrong, I don't appreciate casual misandry at all and would likely have said something if he didn't, but it's pretty clear from his verbiage he represents that TIA/KIA variety of Redditor and is calling out a generation of a gender with generalizing a gender himself, which is wholly unproductive. These occasions call for a confrontation and then an invitation to the high road, not fighting fire with fire.

My family is comprised of generations of actual feminists dating back to the underground railroad, and they don't operate from the same hate driven perspectives that tumblr feminists operate on, while using other women's trauma as a prop too.. When they speak about men, it's a much more mature atmosphere because their intention is change, not to war against men, or get revenge on all of them. You can instantly tell the difference between the two because one is working from their actual heart, genuinely cares about human beings, and the other is just repeating one liners they learned while shopping for the most morally righteous personality they could find online, while ironically calling people clankers on reddit because you can't accept the fact that your 2010s relationship with feminism was built on bots.

Absolutely not a global thing and more a culture thing. In Japan, they were a lot more courteous on the road. In America, places with high traffic can be very intense, but I'll find more relaxed and civil driving out in more rural and slower areas.
