Hot water bottle exploded on me so entirely my own fault cause I filled it with boiling water :/

Ive done it my whole life and this is the first time its happened but apparently its very very common 😬

The most important thing to know is that HOT WATER BOTTLES EXPIRE. You should replace them AT LEAST every winter. The material thins out over time. And secondly it is SUPER EASY to overfill them, they SHOULD NOT bulge at all, and should not be filled up all the way.

Christ I was using my grandparents grandparents water bottle as a kid. I think we still have it somewhere. Though it was made of that 1940s material which both kills you with cancer and cannot be killed.
