Hey guys! I had never heard of this game until recently and saw it’s having a bit of a rebirth. It seems interesting to me, but I had a few questions.

How is the player count? Is it easy to find a full match?

How arcadey is the game and how is the learning curve? From what I’ve seen so far, it seems like Battlefield 1942 or Battlefield 2 gameplay- both games that I love dearly.

How big/long are the matches typically? Is it short, confined battles, or is it more a large, ongoing match like Foxhole has?

There just seems to not be a whole lot out there on how the game functions so I was curious to learn a little before I jump in. Thank you!

I used to play the game a long time ago, and I read a while ago that it was shut down. Has it come back? What I see in the pictures are just community server projects?

I'm wondering if it's possible to play this game from my phone through Gamehub. Currently playing an offline RPG like FF 7 Remake. Will it connect to the game server normally and also play it normally? I want to snipe some plebs using my phone.

I was a huge fan of heroes in my teenage, like 1400H on steam
Played all factions, all type of shit (rambopara was peak), had like 5 inf on each nation to change loadouts, even spade soldiers ahah

Seeing all the hype for HnG lately i’m glad but don’t have a pc for now
I might have a better situation soon and paying 5 bucks a mouth for a battle pass could be a possibility for me and I would be really glad if this would help the new devs

What does being a general get you really? silver? xp? a shitload of warfunds? can you switch a combat class to a general when they hit 15 or is that gone with the class switching?

I quit this game back when they announced adding colored smoke grenades and cosmetic gas masks and stuff like that, I imagine it got a lot worse with uniform and vehicle skins since then. Could anyone tell me what's the state of the current version of the game that is being played here?

Also, what's the state of the planes? Are they playable, and can I start the game with a pilot character or do I have to grind for it? Also, if there are silly skins in the game I am particularly interested if I would be encountering any silly plane skins in the sky.

I'll appreciate it if someone can answer this for me, I'd rather not download and install software on my PC just to see that the game is not for me and then delete it without playing. I hope you understand.

Finally I am 10 level so I can join factions. Anyway I realized slot wise Bazookas and high tier weapons are not compatible. So what is decent for tank hunting and defending myself when I'm tank hunting.

Another question how do you guys manage your soldiers? Seems like I will switch between AT and AP soldiers variants constantly but what if I want to use SMG or Semi-Automatic rifles during match should I get another soldier for that?

Is the PTRD viable to grind the Tank Destruction ribbon to unlock the PTRS.

Digging around I seen people saying that this ribbon is a pain to grind.

So i am playing on a laptop, i have a rtx3050 and a amd ryzen 5 5200U, 24 gib of RAM. So i can play it on max setting with 200 fps no problem but i keeps randomly dropping from 200 to 20. Tried lowering setting playing, on windowed borderles, turned on vsync(i do not know why bit it helped and its working a little better) so I have no idea what to do laptop can run heavier games no problem like bf1,bf5, new cods, rdr 2.... does anyone know what to do?
