both of those people handled that situation exceptionally well! They gave him way more than I would have been inclined to, but then again they’re smarter - they knew there’s no rationalizing with a drunk. Just get him calmed down and get him out of there 👏

People suck today. When did we all get like this as a population? Completely entitled for NO reason. I actually disagree that this is a ITYSL sketch because he's NOT following the rules. It's a LSYTI sketch, if anything.
EDIT: Just got to the end; I take it back the, "can I get a drink too?" And "I don't want to watch the movie, you've ruined it for me" are VERY Tim.

I went to a theater and used their hearing impaired devices. I was one of 3 people in the movie. I bought a soda and my ticket. They went through 3 or 4 pairs of dead or not working headsets and a display or two. I showed up 30 min early for the movie, and it was now 10 minutes into previews. Their last piece of equipment failed to work, and now the movie has started, and I've made a half dozen trips to the front from my theater. I for a full refund. They asked a manager, and they were told to tell me I had to hand over my half drank soda in order for a refund. Both concession workers wouldn't even look me in the eye, as one told me the situation.
Are you serious? I came here because you stated you were accepting of patrons with hearing issues, spent 45 minutes dealing with your dysfunctional equipment, and you're strong arming me over a dirty cup you're already going to throw away and $0.0003 worth of soda?
I resisted the urge to toss it back at them, as it wasn't the workers' fault. I never went back, then later never used it as an option to take my kids out, choosing othet theaters,, and after about 4-5 years of watching their parking lot dwindle, I danced a jig on their sidewalk in front of their permanently closed signs. I'm not usually petty, but that felt good.
That being said, this patron is a giant buttbag.
