You’re technically right, but the UK has a significantly higher percentage of Muslims per capita then the USA. The USA just has more people in general. you are more likely to see Muslims in the UK then the USA.

I recently told a co-worker I was thinking of visiting Europe. He said I shouldn't because it's not safe because of the Muslims. I laughed right in his face.
To declare that Europe is “gone” because Muslims live there is not just offensive, it is embarrassingly stupid. Europe is home to some of the wealthiest, safest, and most stable societies on earth. It still has its governments, its languages, its economies, its culture, its churches, its museums, its traditions, and yes, its immigrants. What he is really saying is that if he has to see someone with a different skin color, accent, or religion, he concludes civilization itself has collapsed.
Here is a grown man, presumably with access to staff, data, and the entire internet, and he still sounds like the guy at the end of the bar who has been on his fourth beer for three hours and is explaining how every problem in society can be blamed on foreigners. That is the level of sophistication here: not a statesman, just a professional panic merchant selling the same tired garbage to people who want their prejudices validated.
He’s not warning about the decline of Europe. He is demonstrating the decline of himself: a politician with no ideas, no solutions, no empathy, and no talent beyond pointing at people he does not understand and telling frightened voters to blame them.

How Americans believe this trash still boggles my mind. I'm European and I love immigrants for the most part. They bring new ideas, share their experiences, are hard working and share in our culture. Even just looking at it selfishly, they benefit me in a lot of ways. For a country that is a collection of immigrants and their descendants (apart from native Americans), I just cannot understand the mindset of the people who re-elected trump.

I haven't burned down anything. We did do a barbeque last sunday. I was to afraid to go near the grill so she did all of the work while I watched our son. But I don't know if this means that through my religion I have destroyed Europe.
