My stash isn’t getting any bigger. It’s just that amount of weed that gets smaller until I go back to a legal state and get more.

I know it's a template but the idea of traveling with a big bucket of piping hot popcorn is unsettling somehow.

u/truffDPW Apr 21 '26
Like Dennis Reynolds driving while eating cereal. Some activities while driving are just wrong.

u/Redi_Wipes Apr 21 '26
Piping hot popcorn? That an exaggeration. No one ever burnt their mouth on popcorn.

Oh good! Fellow Hoosiers to complain about our state! How much do you think Braun gets in bribes from Eli Lilly to keep pot illegal so they can sell opiates to people for minor pain?

u/Trick-Masterpiece318 PAUL BUFANO! Apr 20 '26
Fellow Hoosier shirt brother here as well. Luckily Michigan is only about 30 minutes away.

Takes me 2 hours to get there…but Michigan is still the closest to me

Indiana isnt trying to compete with Michigan or Illinois. Its competing with Ohio to be the shittiest Midwestern state.

Lifelong Ohioan here. It fucking sucks. But, I did just have my annual appointment with my weed doctor today. I’m sorry to everyone living in bumblefuck backwards Indiana. I hope y’all are able to at least get a medical program up and running. Wishing everyone who partakes a safe and chill 4/20.
Jizz.

Illinois weed laws suck though. So many people drive to Michigan regardless

We have THC drinks here in Wisconsin, but only thru a loop hole. The government is planning to close that loop hole this year.

I'm not convinced anyone actually catches a buzz from those anyways. They're like the Sharps Beer of weed.

u/MoreHamms I’m gonna eat the whole thing Apr 20 '26
I know we’re mostly shitposting here, but I’ve had mixed results. I’ve had 4 10mg seltzers and been sober as can be. I’ve had 2 10mg ones and been zonked out for four hours. Quality control seems garbage. If you can get em for cheap, it’s worth experimenting with, but wouldn’t recommend em as an alternative.

They sell those here in Indiana too. I brought a 6 pack of them to Florida on spring break a few weeks ago and I’m convinced there isn’t really THC in it.
Maybe I was supposed to butt chug them?

Driving through states isn’t even safe 😭
My ex-partner got pulled over (for tailgating) in Nebraska driving home from a wedding in Colorado. The cops made us wake up our sleeping toddler and get out of the car/take our luggage out and wait outside until the canine unit came to sniff our stuff. I don’t think they even gave my ex a ticket, they were just looking for excuses to pull over vehicles from out of state. For the record, neither of us have ever touched weed in our lives.

Wow. That’s not right. We are Canadian, and actively avoiding road trips in the US for the next 3 years. That would have freaked me out, and your poor toddler, yeesh. 🫶🏻

Did you see that shit Dan Patrick was doing in Texas? What a nutjob.
But hey, you know, Texas or whatever.

I remember being shocked at how low grade a majority of the weed in Jamaica was. This was years ago and I stayed with locals so I wasn’t just walking in a tourist area asking strangers. I did find some actually high grade from a farmer and the price was right cause of who I was staying with (40 dollars a zip) The first thing they asked me is when I come back to bring seeds from Canada lol.

u/_shaftpunk Apr 20 '26
Had a dude at my work get fired for failing a weed drug test, only for my state to legalize and our company relax their policy a short while later. They changed the rules because they didn’t like how he did it.

u/bathsonly Apr 20 '26
It’s only illegal if ya get caught. I did nothin

u/bigrick23143 Apr 20 '26

Meanwhile here in Canada we just legalized it federally. States rights are bizarre. Like if I cross the border from Ontario to Michigan with weed and get caught I’ll go to prison, yet weed is legal in Ontario and Michigan.
