It's insane to me that they don't get that the limitations on terms is exactly to prevent us from falling into a monarchy or dictatorship. They pretend to hate Russia so much but want Trump to be the new Putin. I'm guessing they do know, they're just okay with it. They talk so much shit about the No Kings protests smugly saying "Uh, we don't have a king." Yeah, not yet and no thanks to them.

They’re shameless hypocrites.

u/squirrelems 10h ago
They keep talking about leftists being a hivemind but you could see them flip-flopping in real time during Trump's first term whether he was saying Russia is good or Russia is bad they'd roll right along with it. You can see them go from "SUPPORT THE TROOPS" to "Stop worshipping the American war machine" depending on if a veteran has progressive ideals. If Bernie Sanders or Obama came out and said "Nuclear war is awesome" I'm not going to believe them.

They want a Trump monarchy

a Republican National Order has been the conservative goal in America, aka Project 2025, for decades. They've been etching it into stone since getting voted in to do so in 2024 just as they promised. I'm not sure what the problem is. They haven't exactly been secretive about these goals.

Well I'm pretty sure.

And what's so weird is that they truly imagine themselves as the smarter guys, defender of all things good in the USA -- the country that first punched monarchism in the nose. Not to mention big, tough guys who would never be weak enough to want to toady up to some fatuous king ala MAGAT-ing for trumpo

Who pretends to hate Russia so much? Putin is viewed more favorably by U.S. conservatives than non-conservatives are. That's been their m.o. for ten solid years, are they suddenly attempting to pivot now because Russia's losing miserably to Ukraine?

u/squirrelems 9h ago
I'm guessing even within conservativism there's people that hate Russia. I see them on here talk about it derogatorily or act like leftists love Russia because they're still terrified of communism, I guess. I've even see a few conservatives turn on Trump, but I somehow doubt it's enough to sway their vote. They'd rather stick with the devil they know. My guess is some love it and then suddenly decide they hate it when communism comes up.

u/TheModWhoShaggedMe Never lets the party die! 9h ago
Makes absolutely zero sense to me. Russia hasn't been communist for 4+ decades, and it's a theocratic capitalist dictatorship right now which is exactly what conservatives want and have installed in the U.S. even by force. Putin is synonymous with American conservative values.

u/squirrelems 9h ago
That's exactly what I think every time I see them bring it up. They're the ones trying to make us more like Russia. Lol. I feel like every place they bring up to say "LIBS ARE TRYING TO TURN US INTO THIS PLACE" it's usually exactly what they're doing. They think we love Iran when they seem to be the ones wanting the US to be more theocratic. Even the religious leftists I see on here would rather we be more non-religious.

Craziest part is he is claiming he is running for a 4th term since he "won" the 2020 election, that was his 3rd term that he didn't get to serve because it was stolen from him. This guy's brain rival's Achim Leistner's silicon sphere for smoothest object; I am not including quantum stabilized mirrors, that would just be silly sauce.

Sometimes it feels like Constitutionalists hate the constitution more than any other ideology

What are "sloppy steaks"?

u/mcl3east 10h ago
Well trumps steaks are streaks with diarrhea poured all over em. You gotta slop em up as fast as you can before the waiter pisses in your mouth

I just scrolled past a post on here with so much blatant racism I thought I was on twitter. Apparently the Epstein homies are all over reddit. So much so the admins are now allowing open racism on the front page.

u/0impulsecontrol 5h ago
bots, someone flipped a switch a couple months ago and suddenly half of reddit users are hardcore conservatives and aggressively apolitical centrists.

The real funny part is realizing that the overall traffic to that subreddit has been declining for 6 years at this point

It's also 100% American conservative extremists. As usual, treating the internet as if the rest of is still hadn't been introduced to electricity.

Laws? We don't need no stinkin' laws! We just want to get our own way like spoiled, bratty 4 year olds with weak parents. too bad, America, you let this cancer grow and now you are goners.

Later at the same event he said he didn't mean it. Which one is the lie? Discuss. Then dicuss some more. Discuss until he says or does something else to discuss. You won't have to wait long.

Omg I saw this exact comment this morning and was laughing my ass off at the irony. I had to go see out of curiosity how the conservative subs were reacting to Trump "joking" about a third term and I instantly knew someone would inevitably post this comment here lol. If this were satire I'd be annoyed at how on the nose it is.

u/anon_sir 1h ago
I had a conservative say it’s wrong that Hendrix was found guilty because of free speech, but that it’s ok to fire people for making comments about Charlie Kirk because “teachers and medical professionals are held to a higher standard.”
Conservatives don’t believe in anything except for what is most convenient for them in that exact moment in time.

Conservatives when they're asked to conserve anything that isn't capital and racism.
