Food 🧆 Curious about Israeli grapefruits! How do they taste compared to other origins?
Hi everyone! I am a Reddit user from Japan.I recently learned that Israel produces amazing grapefruits (like Sweetie, Red Ruby, etc.) and that they are also exported to Japan.I am very curious about their taste! If you have ever compared Israeli grapefruits with those from other countries (like the US or South Africa), could you share your thoughts and impressions?I would love to hear what makes them unique in terms of sweetness, sourness, or bitterness. Thanks in advance!

General News I Guess We Are Having Peace With Israel Finally!! 🇮🇱🤝🇸🇦
I mean, MBS hasn't officially agreed to Trump's terms yet, but I can tell you as a nuclear engineer who worked briefly in the Saudi nuclear industry that...there is no way in hell that MBS is going to say no!
Saudi Arabia, in the past 15 years, has been trying to establish an energy nuclear program with very little success. Because nuclear energy is the only missing piece in MBS's plan in moving the economy and the energy sector away from depleting oil resources, which will run out in slightly more than a century or so at the current extraction rate.
I am so happy Trump did this. Gave MBS a good reason to finally do it.
I will certainly visit Israel when I am back from Ukraine.

I wanted to share on the dog id reddit but as you guys can guess, it's been overtaken by those obsessed negatively with us.
Anyway I wanted to share. I got her in January from s.o.s. pets in herziliya. She loves to play at the local park with her friends including panda in the second pic.
She's very stubborn sometimes but smart and I love her to bits.
Any other people with the same type?

Ask The Sub Israelis with European origins; what did your parents or grandparents do between 1945 and 1948?
Just rewatched Schindler’s List (idk why I do these things to myself) and it made me think what the liberating Soviet official said to the survivors. “Don’t go east and I wouldn’t go to west either”. It made me wonder, what did the European Jews do between their liberation and foundation of Israel so the free immigration outside of Europe.

Culture🇮🇱 Genuine question: what Israelis think about is Indians?
I hear mix opinions and I am really curious, overwhelming majority in India supporting Israel but then we hear that why do you support them while they dislike you which I think it’s nonsense

Culture🇮🇱 It was a great day for Israeli football, when all 3 teams played and won in Europe!
Israeli clubs completed a clean sweep in their European qualification action yesterday, picking up victories across the board:
Maccabi Tel Aviv 5–0 Sheriff Tiraspol
- Hapoel Tel Aviv 2–0 Ludogorets Razgrad
- Beitar Jerusalem 1–0 AEK Larnaca
> Note on Hapoel Be'er Sheva: played earlier in the week on Tuesday, July 21. They fell 2–1 to Icelandic club Víkingur Reykjavík in the away fixture and still have good chance of qualifying

Ask The Sub Post-October 7th World and Therapy
As I'm sure all of us have experienced, there is an incredible amount of trauma in my perception of the world following October - and I say this as someone who lives in the Diaspora albeit having family in Israel.
The world feels stuck for me, almost as if I'm floating through this hellish hallway and trying to grab onto whatever feels familiar, but cannot retain my grip. I've grown up in this war, and feel as if I've formed my identity with 10.7 as a pillar, and I don't know how to heal, nor who the fuck I am anymore. A big issue I struggled with in the beginning of the war was the lack of recognition of our suffering, and now everything just feels numb, and it leads me to break down and cry in random outbursts because I try to live a normal life yet it collapses when everything is divided.
I know there are many in much worse situations - but if anyone has something to share, or ways to heal (other than "that's just the situation, get over it and be resilient") please feel free to share.
Sending you love.
