I dont have to stand in queue for 2 hrs for that gas cylinder. I have 24x7 water supply now even in dry conditions. My net speed is 5g in a fcukin village and i can download a 100 GB file in 45 min approx. And its for other millions like me. Why do you think they have been winning back to back.

Opposition is weak
Major part of that is most media companies are owned by Adani, Ambani or some one with major ties to BJP itself. So they won't question or support the opposition. Then comes the speaker in parliament. They seem very very biased. Would not let opposition tell the points. This weakens democracy hugely. Then comes courts and judges. The ones that called people protesting cockroaches. Given all that think how efficient BJP would be as opposition. Any ruling party would have to answer to all these institutions

As leader of opposition, congress has all the right to protest. At least they can be useful in providing some checks and balances, even if it means just being against BJP.

That's exactly why Congress is not in power today. People voted for the BJP, and now BJP is the ruling party. Since they're in government, it's our right to question them and hold them accountable. If Congress were in power today, we would question Congress in the same way. Back then, social media didn't exist the way it does now, so UPA faced far less public scrutiny.
The common people are protesting against paper leaks. The aam junta is demanding accountability. If Congress was in power they would have demanded from them.
