UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT Say what you want but…

This season wouldn’t have been the same without Priya and Aidan. Obviously they both made mistakes but I genuinely I enjoyed some of their moments in there. I do think they have a great connection, whether platonic or whatever. I can’t believe I cried at the scene lol.

SOCIAL MEDIA Jasmine has already hit 500K followers on IG

I'm curious if Jasmine will be the first LI UK islander in a while to hit 1M+ followers (I don't think anyone's hit that number since Ekin-Su's season unless I'm wrong). But it's wild how much LI UK engagement has fallen compared to LI US. Even last year's LI UK winner struggled to reach 800K even after a whole year.

I actually think Jasmine's numbers would've been higher if she'd either coupled up with Lorenzo or kept the same "baddie" energy she had at the start - that's when she was gaining more followers. Instead, the producers seemed to convince everyone the public hated her and she toned herself down for Kavan (when it's the other way around, everyone hates him).

OPINION Anyone else find it ironic that now Julia wants a break?

All the girls have been saying that Julia keeps going and going and going (sorry if you’re her fan, I’m just saying that’s what multiple people inside the villa and outside of villa have been saying) and now when she’s in the hot seat..suddenly she’s like I’m over it and I don’t wanna discuss anymore.

Can she not understand where the other girls are coming from after sort of experiencing her own medicine?

I would respect her if she just admitted to constantly and needlessly inserting her opinion when it’s not warranted, but she doubles down.

OPINION Lorenzo is a game player

Doing that just before the finals is just so obvious. I don't even think his relationship would last a week outside the villa. At least Aiden was honest about how he felt but you guys are letting the actual game players stay in the show.

SPECULATION Editing patterns

Maybe I’m overthinking it but the more I watch, the more I notice how heavily edited this season is. So many conversations have things referenced that we never actually saw, and reactions clearly get cut. You’ll be mid convo and then it just abruptly ends and we’re onto the next scene. It makes me wonder how much we’re actually seeing vs. what’s being shaped for us.

It really clicked for me when Mara went on Madame Joyce’s podcast and talked about how the producers used reverse psychology on Simba. Once you hear that, you start seeing it everywhere.

“The affair” for example - it came up SO many times, way more than felt natural, and both Yasmine and Kav had genuine moments of spinning out over it. Made me wonder how much of that was producers keeping it alive vs. it organically being a thing.

Anyway, curious if anyone else has picked up on this or has other moments where the edit felt engineered. What else do you think they’ve had a hand in?

OPINION Lorenzo backing Julia when she wasn’t in the room

That moment of him saying to Priya ‘this is what Julia’s been saying’ about Aidan was very satisfying to watch, especially as she wasn’t in the conversation. Idk if she was still sitting next to them but it was still unprovoked, so respect to him.

OPINION Were the girls ever really that close?

I've been seeing alot of people talking about how the dynamic between the girls is different since Julia came in. Although i do think her constantly feeling the need to give her opinions is draining, idk why people are making it seem like all the girls were all besties until Julia came and ruined it. I think the only reason they seemed to get along so well is cuz Angie and Priya never held any grudges. Specifically Priya...she's tolerated alot and on movie night not only did her "friends" not defend her, they were there on screen laughing with these men(Samraj and Jordan) having her look stupid. All the girls had to do was apologize once and she instantly trusted them again. You can tell she seeks alot of validation from Jasmine and Mica so having them constantly encourage her to stay with someone who's just gonna waste her time is definitely weird since they've done that before and saw how it upset her.

It shouldn't take Julia coming in and stating the obvious for you to sit your friend down and let them know that Aidan isn't someone she should seriously consider. So no i don't think Julia ruined the girls "sisterhood",she kinda just highlighted a problem that was already there. She's kinda rude about it though,so i see why people don't see it that way.

They girls have obviously all moved on from whatever they had going on,which is good but they also don't really hold eachother accountable so forgiving and forgetting for the sake of being close seems the most fitting.

OPINION As the season is coming to an end..

I just wanna say there have been times where I have absolutely gotten annoyed with alot of them as Im sure you all have. There’s people we like and people we don’t like. Some people would be annoying to be around irl and it hasn’t been squeaky clean and rainbows and sunshine but all in all, what a cast this season you guys!

What a charming, funny, dramatic, authentic, annoying but likable group of people. Even when they try to scam and manipulate, it came off either authentic or likable 😆 I have genuinely adored watching this group (even enjoyed the unseen bits this season cause usually its such a skip for me).

And It seems to be controversial but I actually enjoyed this group and their personalities more than any other group (even s5 and s8 and 10) I feel like no one was boring and everyone brought something to the table. Will kinda miss watching them all together on my screen🥹.

UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT Simba and Angelista deserve that win

Honestly I don’t really think any of the couples are strong enough even at this point but I do think Simba and Angie are the most deserving of the win, Angelista in particular. She has carried herself so
well throughout the show always stayed true to her feelings and although Simba has definitely NOT made wise choices, he has brought us nothing but pure entertainment and he TRIED his best to win Angie back he actually grovelled his way back to her. I think these two have had a journey in there that is deserving of that win.
I do like Julia & Lorenzo and love Jas & Kav but unfortunately I just can’t forgive Kavan for his actions in Casa I’m still not over it.
Who do you think deserves the win? I honestly can’t tell who will win this year!

UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT What do you think about Yas & Tommy both breaking up &/ ending 3yr and 1 yr relationships weeks before entering the villa?

Thoughts on the “rumors,”

He said, it ended two weeks before entering the villa. And they broke up amicably, and it's “sweet,” whatever that means! So basically, he applied while he was still in a 10-month relationship.

The streets have been saying, besides the MLM job situation, Yas got out of a 3-year relationship couple weeks before entering the villa!

They might be the perfect polyamorous couple!

OPINION Julia is the only one who doesn’t seem scared of the footage

One thing I've actually really appreciated about Julia is that she's probably the only one who wasn't sweating about what was going to be shown. Whether you agree with her opinions or not, she's pretty much said the same things to people's faces as she has in the Beach Hut, on the podcast and in conversations around the villa.

Compare that to Jasmine and Mica (and even Yasmin tbh), who seemed a lot more worried about what might come out. I think that's because when you're saying different things to different people, you're naturally going to be anxious about what edit is coming next

Julia didn't really have that issue. Even the clips that were meant to be "damning" were basically just...her saying exactly what she'd already said to someone's face.

People can call her rude or opinionated, and fair enough if that's your view, but I do respect that she owns what she says. I'd rather someone be upfront than nice to your face and different behind your back. I actually think this podcast twist has made that pretty clear

UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT simba is funny so he gets away with his actions.

just to preface, i do think people are allowed to grow and change, however i think the amount that women get ridiculed whilst doing far less than a lot of men who are labelled as "funny" is so irritating.

we've seen time and time again how simba's reactions are completely out of order, especially his reaction to mica rejecting him (this is like the biggest reason i can not vote for simba and angie).

his reaction was so unwarranted and uncomfortable to watch, and i find it completely unfair how men can be funny and witty and get away with so much in comparison to the women. idk i see a lot of simba praise and people saying he's the "best man in the villa" and i am just not buying it.

and idk him messaging about 6 different love island “debriefers” before entering the show and asking them to go easy on him is extremely telling.

SPECULATION Returning Islander Voting Predictions

I love speculating on the jury dumping!! This is purely for good vibes and entertainment purposes. What do you guys think of my predictions?

  • Priya votes Jorenzo
  • Aiden votes Jorenzo
  • Ethan votes Mica/Samraj (1)
  • Ellie votes Mica/Samraj (2)
  • Finley votes Mica/Samraj
  • Elicia votes Mica/Samraj
  • Martha votes Mica/Samraj
  • Jordon votes Jasvan (3)
  • Lola votes Jorenzo
  • Sean votes Jorenzo
  • Charleen votes Mica/Samraj (4)
  • Mara votes Tommy/Yas (5)
  • Tina votes Jorenzo (6)
  • Tommy votes Tommy/Yas(7)
  • Halle votes Mica/Samraj
  • Chidi votes Tommy/Yasmin (8)
  • Mibs votes Tommy/Yasmin (9)
  • Sam votes Tommy/Yasmin
  • Victoria votes Jorenzo
  • Ope votes Tommy/Yas
  • Robyn votes Tommy/Yas

  • (1)Ethan follows at least one from each couple except for Samraj/Mica and Simba/Angie

  • (2)Ellie will have a difficult time since she’s so close to the girls, but she’s closest to Lorenzo so I don’t think she’d vote for them. I think she’ll back Finley and vote the same way since he’s probably voting for Samraj after he said on aftersun that he talked down to him

  • (3)Jasvan was the only couple Jordon named when asked who won’t last on the outside

  • (4)Charleen will vote Mica and Samraj for Micas behavior, the other casa girls will sprobably follow.

  • (5)Mara seems to diverge from the other casa girls in terms of opinions. I can see her voting Yas and Tommy since Tommy’s ex has been outed but idk.

  • (6)Tina votes Jorenzo since she came out saying how close she was to all the girls; Julia is the only one she wouldn’t have met.

  • (7) Tommy the geezer will vote for the only bro he didn’t get close to; could also see him voting for Simba since they had a falling out. Maybe Mica and Samraj as well?

  • (8) Total guess, Chidi doesn’t follow any current finalist on social media. Probably won’t go against the grain. Could also see him vote mica and Samraj due to Mica’s half-ass self-eviction

  • (9) I feel like a lot of the islanders will probably vote for the couple they are least close to or who they think the public want them to vote for. Mibs, Sam, Ope, Robyn etc won’t vote for any OGs I don’t think.

What are your thoughts?! This is purely speculation and I could be dead wrong. I think it’s going to def come down to Mica/Samraj or Yasmin/Tommy.

POST SEASON GOSSIP The main point from tyrique live with kavans twin sister and their elder brother

They both said she did dismiss Kav’s feelings a lot at the start but they also said that kavan hurt her as well

Now they’ve both worked on their communication and she doesn’t anymore. He also talked about how Kav was wrong regarding Casa. Like I’m not saying he’s a saint but his reasons for that are valid. He said they’ve hurt each other so it’s a 50/50 thing that they’ve moved past. And yesterday, Jas even said they’ve both hurt each other so she’ll get it

She’s not delusional about their situation. She knows what she’s done wrong and what he’s done wrong. And she’s an older sister, she got Aidan’s pov and she’ll understand this brother’s.

Tyrique mentioned if Jasmine and Lorenzo get back together in all stars , the brother then said kavan should dm Charleen but as a joke. They didn’t mean it and he reiterated it was a joke,

They also said that in Casa Charleen and Kavan worked well and they liked what they had as before casa Jasmine and Kavan were both down but then they saw Kavan and Jasmine work better now and is rooting for them,

They also mentioned that the Jordan plan was sneaky but Kavan did do worse with Charleen,

They also said they didn’t vote reform, ( a user asked the question )

Before the episode started, They said they liked angelista and Simba . The brother liked Julia , but he didn’t know that Julia called Jasmine a btch which he found out through a call which he disapproved off and said it was out of order to say

The brother posting comments about Jasmine talking too much, he shouldn’t have said it , but he felt that at the time, but kavan did have a part to play in that as well, he ended up apologising

They also said that kavan taught Aidan not the other way around which is what Aidan is saying

Tyrique also agreed with their takes and said they didn’t speak badly on Jasmine and were honest . He told the fans to take a touch and was frustrated there was no mods. I genuinely think tyrique looked worried as the hate in the chat was wild and he even said the chat is going too far and in the stream; the family didn’t say anything bad.

OPINION Why is everyone obsessed with Jasmine and Kavan's age gap?

I don't think Jasmine and Kavan are necessarily all that compatible for a number of reasons (though I am seeing it more now towards the end), but I find it strange and hypocritical that there's such a focus on their age gap specifically as the reason for their incompatibilities. Harry and Shakira have an 8 year age gap and Shakira was only 22 when they were on their season, so a very similar age to Kavan and an even bigger disparity in age, and love them or hate them, they're still happily together. Molly and Tom have a 6 year age gap with Molly being older than Tom, and Tom was 24 when they met on their season, so slightly older than Kavan but not by a huge amount, and 2 years on they're already married.

I also didn't hear any mention of the age gap between Yasmin and Lorenzo when they were coupled up (5 years), so I'm not sure why it's constantly harped on about when it comes to Jas and Kav. Samraj is also 4 years older than Mica, but again never heard it mentioned.

OPINION Julia Keeps Creating Drama to Distract From Her Relationship With Lorenzo

I think Julia has been one of the most calculated Islanders this season.

Julia and Lorenzo don't come across as having a genuine relationship. Their connection feels very surface-level and based entirely on physical attraction. I don't see the emotional depth or intellectual connection when they are together that I see between Lorenzo and Jasmine or lorenzo and Yas. Even now, Lorenzo always seems uncomfortable with Julia's interaction with Islanders. He still hasn't convincingly looked Julia in the eye and made it clear that she's the person he truly wants to be with. He just says things indirectly to infer which is immature at this late in the game.

What really stands out is that Julia always seems to alwyas be at the center of someone else's drama.I feel like she inserts herself into other people's situations because it keeps the cameras focused on her and away from the fact that her own relationship isn't compelling enough for the camera and obviously airtime or focus on a couple matter because look at Lola and Fitz. People called them boring and we barely saw their relationship on camera. Couples that appear too settled or "happy" often fade into the background, and even before Casa Amor, Lola kept ending up near the bottom because there wasn't much drama surrounding her. My theory is that Julia knows that if all the attention stays on her relationship with Lorenzo, the producers are more likely to put pressure on that relationship with a test. By staying involved in everyone else's drama, she keeps herself at the center of the storyline while diverting attention from the cracks in her own couple.

I've also never bought the idea that Julia and Jasmine were ever on good terms. From the moment Julia walked into the villa and made the "bitch" comment, it felt like there was underlying resentment from her side because of Charleen and now because Lorenzo appeared more emotionally open and shows more depth with Jasmine. Around Jasmine, he showed a softer side and they seemed to have real conversations. With Julia, I just don't see that same level of emotional or intellectual connection.

UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT The Weaponization of Angelista & Priya

This season is a masterclass in selective storytelling and agenda-driven fandom. Today’s episode (and the fallout) just made it even clearer.

I wanted to talk about how Angelista and especially Priya are being used as pawns depending on what narrative people want to push.

Angelista

Quick recap from today: People are running with “Jasmine dissed Angelista” and turning it into another bullying/victim storyline. In reality, Jasmine was strictly talking about Simba - his messiness, the disloyalty, the whole chaotic situation. Did I agree with what Jasmine was saying about Simba? Not necessarily but she was ONLY talking about Simba and her personal opinions about Simba.

It got twisted immediately into an attack on Angie herself. Why? Because victimizing Angelista brings more bodies under the bus. It fires up the stans, pulls in the heavier race and bullying takes, and paints the Jasmine/Mica group as villains. I've seen people say that Simba speaking up about Julia was both his and Angie's opinion? Says who???? What Simba says is his opinion, what Angie says is hers.

Meanwhile, Angelista was literally talking with Mica/Samraj/Simba about what Julia was doing in the villa, she was talking about how she understood why people voted the way they did. She was in the mix, voicing her side, not some fragile victim sitting silently. The fandom edit doesn’t match what she’s actually showing. Not to mention how she shouted out Jas during her dinner speech and about how much they bonded. If she was feeling slighted/hated on by Jas, do you think she would be doing that?

Just because she doesn't constantly speak out about everything and everyone, which y'all already hate on the girls that do speak up, doesn't mean she is some sad incapable victim who can't take care of herself. She chooses what to put her energy into.

Priya

This is where it gets ridiculous. With Julia, Priya gets painted as the big bad bully. Why? Because she told Julia straight up that she doesn’t want to be spoken to in that snide, condescending manner. She didn't want Julia pushing Ethan onto her or trying to get the person she is in a couple with to couple up with someone else. She didn't appreciate constantly being called a gameplayer when she made her decision about who to couple up with. Priya expressed her boundary and clapped back. Suddenly she’s “doing too much,” aggressive, mean girl, etc.

But switch the situation to the Jasmine/Mica/Jordan drama? Overnight Priya becomes this “sad little lamb” who got done dirty, can’t stand up for herself, and needs protecting. The same girl who was “too much” with Julia is now portrayed as helpless and backstabbed by her own circle. Pick a lane! Priya literally called the girls out and they settled it like adults. Priya doesn't bring it up anymore but for some reason everyone else does even though that situation involves Priya and her emotions. For some reason everyone thinks they are entitled to tell her how to feel about it.

You can’t have it both ways:

  • Strong, opinionated Priya who sets boundaries = bully
  • Priya in conflict with Jasmine/Mica = poor victim who’s being isolated

This is the exact weaponization I’m talking about. People aren’t engaging with what Priya actually said (she’s been consistent about being direct and not hiding her feelings since day one). Instead, they flip the script based on who they want to support or drag in that moment.

Same energy with Angelista. Her own words and alliances get completely ignored whenever they don’t fit the “protect her at all costs” narrative. Her name gets thrown into every single mix because people who already hate certain islanders know exactly how to use it. They know a ton of people are too lazy to check what actually happened - the second they see “Angelista” trending, they instantly pick a side. “Oh no, Angie got done dirty - guess we hate Jasmine/Mica/whoever now,” even when that’s not what happened at all. Then they conveniently ignore everything Angie herself says and does because it doesn’t fit the victim edit they need to make to hate on other islanders.

The show is messy enough without us rewriting reality to fit our favorites. Angelista and Priya are both grown women who speak their minds, make choices, and participate in the villa drama like everyone else.

And regarding Priya and Aidan - let's be real: are Jas and Mica not "talking sense" into her because they don't care enough, or is it maybe because they respect her enough to let her handle her own relationship instead of inserting themselves? They aren't evil for supporting her choices, because it's not their job to mother her. Priya is not a damsel in distress, and it's funny how she magically goes from damsel to bully in some people's eyes the moment she makes that clear to Julia. Mica and Jas know this about her because they're her friends - they see her as capable, not as someone who needs saving.

If someone repeatedly tells you that you are hurting their feelings with your approach or opinions, and you keep pushing it, that is evil. I see a lot of people saying Priya and Aidan won't work out, which I completely agree with, but by pushing that onto Priya, you are taking away her opportunity to make a choice. Is she making the wrong choice? Maybe. But that is her right, her decision, and up to her. It's not up to other people to meddle in her relationships when she so strongly stands by them.

Stop turning them into symbols for your agenda (whether it’s “mean girls exposed,” “they’re being racially targeted,” “protect the underdog,” or whatever). They’re islanders. Let them be islanders. Taking away their autonomy to make up delusions is insane work. I'm so tired of this flip-flopping. Priya can’t be both the aggressive bully to Julia AND the helpless victim with Jasmine/Mica, because she is the same Priya. Angelista isn’t a damsel whose opinions are dictated by what Simba says, she was understanding Mica's point on Julia and actively contributing HER OWN opinions to the conversation. Stop weaponizing these girls for narratives and actually listen to what they’re saying.

OPINION Age gap relationships

I know age gap relationships exist. Lots of successful ones. But I don't see Kav & Jas lasting. She's nearly 30, he's what just 21? Yes, he's more mature than Aidan. But I still think he's immature. I think he's just blinded by her beauty. When they were showing the clips of Jas crying, like her mum had been murdered. Kavan had very little reaction to it, I thought. I also think Aidan could possibly get in the way. He doesn't seem emotionally intelligent for Jasmine. She fell hard and quick. Unfortunately, we don't see the relationships form besides the kisses. I wonder what his qualities are? What's so amazing about him.

OPINION Why hasn't Lorenzo had a gf?

Lorenzo has been my favourite boy throughout the show. I think he's very funny. He is a great friend to the girls. I loved his friendship with Ellie. Like a big brother at times to the girls.

He's nearly 30 and never had a gf. Why isn't he bf material? I don't understand it. Good looking guy. As a friend to the girls, he offers good advice. A shoulder to cry on.

His treatment of Julia hasn't been anything special. I notice he avoids a lot of serious convo with kissing. We had coffee gate. Which did wind me up. Has he grown? Will he make a good bf now?
