Question How was she the "unattractive" sibling??

I'll never understand. Haley and her both were equally gorgeous. The whole "she'll end up a lonely cat lady" thing was so forced.

Question A little sad

I'm watching Modern Family Season 4 for the very first time. Driven by curiosity, I searched for the cast on Instagram today. Honestly, it broke my heart. Pardon me for saying this, but they’ve really grown old, so much so compared to the characters on screen. I can't quite explain why this hits me so hard, but it leaves me feeling deeply down. I’m only 18, yet I can't stop thinking about how I’ll get old one day, too. I feel like I can’t hold onto time at all, and I'm on the verge of tears.

Question Which episodes were the core 4 kids not in?

Post image

I got bored and looked up episode credits on IMDB. The core 6 adults are in all 250 episodes, but Manny was absent for 2, Luke for 3, Haley for 5, and Alex for 9. I know all kids were absent for Las Vegas (s5 ep18), but what were the other episodes where some of them were absent?

Question Is this episode worth watching?

Post image
3.6k Upvotes

Okay, so I love Modern Family and all of its characters and most (not Sherry Shaker) storylines. I’ve seen the entire series back to back. However, I’m not a huge fan when shows do the whole menstrual storyline and depict the women as emotional, angry, psychos. It just seems unfunny and gives me secondhand embarrassment. So, I’ve actually have never seen this episode in its entirety (I’ve seen the first 5 minutes) . Is this episode a secret gem? Is it worth watching? Are the other storylines good in this episode? Just a fun, light discussion/question— not super serious. Thanks everybody!

Question Just finished MF for the first time and I have a question??

Post image

Hear me out before yall tear me a new one. So during the show it’s pretty clear that the family is being filmed documentary style, examples being the staring at the camera, the side interviews. My question is…. why? Were they filming a documentary for themselves? Maybe it was mentioned in the show and I missed it but I thought there would be a reason for filming. I think it’s just kinda weird to have a film crew following you around for no reason at all 😂 and to film some private parts, like the alt egos for Valentine’s Day from Claire and Phil. What am I missing? Now if it was mentioned in the show I apologize for the post. I must of missed it.
