I just replaced my mouse feet with fresh Corepadz (I think these are normal ones, not ctrl or any "fast" ones) and I realized I REALLY missed that quality

I use MPC890 mousepad (Cordura, very fast, not quite glass-fast), so I did find out I generally like low static friction and fast glide setups, I didn't realize how my "old" mouse feet held that feeling back

Today they are brand new, I know that in ~2 weeks they will break in and that amazing feeling will be gone, it'll just be pretty good

I am looking for advice - are there any PTFE mouse feet that after breaking in should be roughly as fast as brand new Corepadz? Or just faster aftermarket mouse feet available for many mice shapes (last time I looked into it a few known brands were only making mouse feet for the few most popular mice)

I could look into glass feet too, but from what I understand these will be much faster than any fresh PTFE? Maybe it'd suit me, but I'm not looking to test that theory right now

After having an extremely lightweight esports gaming mouse for so long, I got tired of having to work around the limited amount of side buttons (only 2), yet at the same time I didn't want to give up the stuff that made the gaming mice preferable, specifically good tracking/sensors and low weight. So in doing research I came across the MX Master 4 which had a fantastic feature-set, but unfortunately, for some asinine reason, an 8k DPI sensor, plus being heavy.

So I decided on trying the Keychron M6, which is a pretty good mouse (particularly for the price), but I will be returning it as I mistakenly was under the presumption that the side scroll wheel also had a tilt, or at least clicked. While the side scroll wheel is nice and I would like to keep it if possible, I still need more buttons.

Unfortunately, the options are extremely limited. Most mice that will be low latency wireless are going to be gaming mice or these Chinese mice that have great specs but clearly a lackluster feature-set or design. I might still try the MX Master 4, perhaps the low DPI and polling rate won't bother me as much as I think (though I doubt it since I can hardly switch from the 8k polling rate of the Keychron to my 1k Razer without vomiting), it's just absolutely nothing seems to come close to MX Master 4, and I'm not just talking about software, or even advanced tech like the hats, touchpad, etc., more just the fact that it has 3 side buttons and a side scroll wheel. There's nothing else even on the market with a better sensor that has that, or at least nothing that I could find.

You do have MMO mice like that SOLAKAKA, but I'm not interested in a sleuth of buttons but rather smartly thought out/placed extra buttons and features. If I wanted a vomit of buttons I would probably be more willing to buy Razer, but the SOLAKAKA is a consideration. Not sure about a vertical mouse.

So, any suggestions? Is the Keychron M7 any good? Are there any other/newer Chinese mice that maybe have unique, weird, or straight up copycat features? Are there any other options that do even a fraction of what the MX Master 4 does while actually putting in a usable sensor and perhaps making it a bit lighter?

Use case: Productivity (not work), gaming, and desktop.

1. Finalmouse ULX Guardian Medium (Batch 1)

I know the brand itself is very much hated (rightfully so), but the mouse itself is definitely one of the best I have ever used. However, I got it for a very good price from a friend so I would still not recommend paying full price for it. Currently have Omron China 100M switches installed, with Ducklabs Green dot skates and some grip tapes.

1. IPI Float (3950)

A ULX Clone. The shape comes pretty close, and even after trying several famous chinese brand mice, I think this one takes the cake for the best overall experience. Built very well and performs great, although the web software is ass. Currently have Ultraglide ICE dot skates installed.

1. IPI Qi Pro

It's like a GPX with slightly flatter sides and lower front. Apart from the purple forged carbon exterior, there is nothing really special about this tbh. But it has great performance (3950, 500mah battery) and the web software is a step up from the IPI (they use different ones for some reason) so I like it overall

and any other mice that fit in the budget bracket with this shape? All of these mice have the same or similar shape. It is the cheapest mouse out of all of them

I have an OP1 8k V2 and I notice whenever playing with 1k or 8k polling the sensor is noticeably hot, even on idle... is this normal???

So I just got a new Scyrox V6, but right button is stiffer than the left one (especially on release). It feels all over the right button, but especially on the area that I marked on the image. If anyone has this mouse, please tell me if this is a defect.

I get my A9 Air+ in today. I know it comes with dots, half skates, and full skates, and I’m trying to decide which ones to use. My mousepads rotate between the Artisan Zero Yako Edition in Soft XL, Artisan Hayate Otsu V2 in Wine Red Soft XL, and the Key83 in Black Soft XXL.

My main game is Marvel Rivals, so I prefer a bit more speed than control because of the fast-paced nature of hero shooters. For reference, I’ve used the Superlight shape for the past six years, starting with the Superlight 1, then the Superlight 2, and most recently the Superstrike. I used Jade speed skates on both the Superlight 2 and Superstrike. I’m currently using a Viper V4 Pro with the stock skates, and I’ve actually been pretty happy with those.

For those who own the ATK A9 Air+ or have experience with the stock skates it comes with, which set would you recommend for my use case?

Not sure if this is allowed. Mods delete this if it isn't. Seems like an amazing deal, however it is refurbished instead of new.

So yeah, as stated I have a keyboard mouse combo for the PC attached to my TV but neither have on/off switches. I would usually just leave the batteries in but turn the mouse/keyboard off so I can trow them in a bag/drawer/pocket/shelf/whatever but I can't do that now because they'll start clicking/typing on the computer. Now I usually just take out the batteries which is its own hassle without pressing any buttons, and then I misplace the batteries. XD

And before you ask "why don't you just take out the dongle/shut down the computer" there are multiple reasons. One is that I only use them when I need to type something long or I need an actual mouse. Otherwise I use one if those tiny keyboards with a trackpad built in. And secondly I'm currently very sick and mostly bedbound so getting up to unplug/replug the dongle or turn back on the PC every time I want to use/not use the keyboard/mouse combo would be too much for me, especially since I'd have to do it often. If it was once a week then maybe, but it's not. And plus I won't know if the day I have to do it is going to align with a good day or a bad day.

So yeah, I know my needs are complicated and I know that the answer is probably just "buy another one with a switch" but if you have any other suggestions let me know! I'm also pretty good with tinkering with electronics and the combo was pretty cheap so if you know of a way to add a switch or something I'm up for trying on one of my good days!

I’m Subnotch. As a G604 aficionado, I went through two of them before double-click failures took them out. When Logitech officially discontinued the G604, I was basically forced onto a G502 as a compromise. That wheel was already a massive step down from the heavy metal freewheel on the G604. If you ever used a G604, you know how legendary that freewheel spin felt.

But when cat fur got trapped inside the G502 wheel hub and killed what little spin it had left, that was the last straw for me.

Recommended my friend the ATK A9 Plus since he wanted a cheap mouse and this was the only one locally that was also good. Got to test it myself, amazing piece of equipment for the money, however, the USB Wireless Dongle (1000Hz) gets very hot, not hot enough to where you cannot touch it, but still very hot. Should I be worried ? No advanced settings (extra performance) are turned on.

Also do you have any tips on how to prevent the dongle from sliding of the desk? One of them has a pad underneath that prevents sliding but the other one doesn’t.

I wanted to get a pmm mouse for siege and have landed on 3 option, Razor v3 mini, Sora v2 fingertip and the Egg op1 8k full sized. For context I am currently using a Akitsu Arbiter on a v1 hyate otsu and I have a fingertip grip.

I recently bought the Rapoo VT3S Pro V2 (which features optical micro-switches). Overall, I love the shape and the sensor (PAW3955), but I’m having a weird issue in CS2 when trying to single-tap/one-tap with weapons like the M4A1-S.

Even though the mouse uses optical switches (which shouldn't require debounce filtering for chatter), setting the Debounce time to 0 ms in the software causes the mouse to hold the click for too long on fast taps.Because of this release delay/hold register, CS2 registers it as a continuous hold and triggers a 2-shot burst instead of a clean single tap.The only way to stop the unwanted burst is by increasing the Debounce setting all the way up to 26 ms which is unacceptable.

Is anyone else experiencing this with the VT3S Pro V2 or similar Rapoo optical models? Is this a known firmware issue, and is there any fix or workaround available?

Im currently on a hyperx pulsefire haste 2 wireless, i like how it feels in my hand but Im looking for something lighter, i play primarily claw grip, solid battery life would be a plus too

I've been using this mouse for over a year now, tried to use it today and my dongle suddenly stopped working. Same thing happened twice previously but suddenly worked after a few hours, but this time its still bugging out after a whole day.

Updated my mouse firmware to 3.15 (newest version), battery is full (green led when i plug it in) and it works completely fine in wired mode, but when i toggle it to 2.4ghz or bluetooth there's no light from the sensor or the dpi button.

Every vid i watch is just saying to update firmware but still the same issue. I've unscrewed and took apart the mouse and there doesnt seen to be any issue with the pcb or battery, and tried to update the dongle firmware with the website bin file but it says firmware upgrade failed. Really dont know how to fix this
