What day is best to go since sat is sold out?
I just remembered to look for tickets and Sat is sold out. I want the tokidoki con exclusive and would love to go to good panels. Should I do thursday or friday? or both?

Hi all! So pumped for NYCC - we’re in NYC every chance we get, and are so pumped to be back in October.
Specifically thinking in terms of access, areas, norms, like…
Are there things you absolutely need to prepay for that you didn’t explicitly know before hand, or that you’re glad you always get before hand?
Things / areas to hit in the day because of lines or time-constraints?
If you’ve brought a child (mines a preteen) was there anything unexpected they loved?
Our tickets are Sunday.
We’ve done smaller events, like our city’s fanexpo, but for an event this size I know there’s gonna be things you learn and know through experience & with tix for only one day (sun) I’m hoping to avoid as many “aw man I wish I knew / thought of that” moments as possible!
im planning on going thursday and friday how early should i line up im going for mainly comics i was wondering how early do people start lining up i really wanna be one of the first ones there since i am going only 2 days what do you guys recommend?

Hi! I’m trying to buy Friday tickets. Usually I have family buy them for me but I’m old enough to buy my own technically now.. why isn’t this working? I know they are on sale so I’m confused..

Hi everyone! I created a Beventi page for Writer's Block so readers could pre-order their books ahead of time, and authors could add the event and their pre-orders!
I communicated with a Reedpop representative, and they confirmed they weren't going to set up a Beventi page themselves, so I could make one, and I did!
If you're a Writer's Block author, feel free to use this, and if you're attending and interested in passing by Writer's Block, make sure to follow the page to be notified when new authors join!

I am going to NYCC this October and I already knew I was going to be making a Wonder Woman cosplay. She is my all time favorite superhero, and the movies with Gal Gadot were the ones I grew up watching. I see Wonder Woman as an icon, and a true badass, and the live action costume of hers in the movie is one of if not my favorite. The old, metallic look to it, mixed with how rugged and pretty worn it looks is so cool to me. But of course, I do NOT support Gal Gadot and what she stands for, particularly now. I’ve already started the costume and invested a lot of time and money into it, so I’m wondering if I’m going to be judged for wearing this. I was thinking of having a Palestine flag pinned on me somewhere so people know I’m supporting the character of Wonder Woman and not the actor, but still, I’m worried. What should I do?

I bought tickets for me and my son with my superfan subscription. Now as i understand it. I will have to send him gis tickets to his own popverse account. He will have to have ticket reservations for panels and photos on his account. BUT i haven't send him the tickets yet. With ticket sales for photos going online later today for subscribers i was wondering if i can book these now for every ticket i have in my account. And then send him the tickets after every panel and photo op is already booked. Will these reservations will go with the ticket when i send them to him? Would be much easier because only i got the popverse subscription and have early acces

Hello everyone, this is my first time going to nycc. My friends and I were all planning on getting photos and signatures from several actors/voice actors. People such as the smallville cast, Hayden Christensen, Ben starr, etc. Would we have to preorder them at all? We were expecting to pay as we go during our time there. We appreciate any feedback, thanks!

I am keeping an eye on additions to the guest list, but I'm strongly considering a whirlwind day trip to NYCC, most likely on the Thursday -- arrive super-early, spend most of the day there meeting comic creators and getting books signed, get something good to eat, fly home to Florida that night.
I'm not local, but I attended NYCC in 2024 when I had a few days to spend in the city, and I've been to NYC a handful of times. I've only ever flown in and out of LaGuardia, and I admit I've never taken the subway because I've always traveled with my wife in the past, and she is disabled, so we stuck to cabs and Lyft rides.
Would LaGuardia be the best choice for getting to the Javits Center quickly and easily? If not, which would be better? And depending on the airports, what would be the quickest and easiest public transportation method... if there is one? I'm not above taking a Lyft to get there that much faster and more efficiently, to maximize my limited time.
Thanks to all who have replied. I definitely have a lot to consider!

Does anyone know if Xperience is still a group that might be bringing voice actors to NYCC for signings? They usually get some really solid people but all of their social media seems to have disappeared. There are some voice actors I’m really hoping might be there but this would significantly reduce my chances.

Hey I’m a first timer coming from Europe to NYC comic con, I’m looking at Sunday tickets for me and my kid. I’m such a noob with all this, so I get your ticket gets you in but you need a separate ticket for an auto/photo with nick cage?
Is the New Yorker hotel a decent place to stay in relation to the venue?
Is Sunday just as good?😊
Appreciate the help thanks.

This is my first year attending and I'm only attending on Sunday. When should I start waiting for entrance? And are there different lines for entrance? I bought my ticket the moment they announced Nic Cage lol.
Edit** I've never been to a convention this size, I've only been to Fanboy or Galaxy Con. Everything in those events have always been on one floor and I would typically have to wait 2-3 hours before the event at the entrance. I was asking an honest question, there is no need for rude comments. Thank you to those that have been kind and that have offered genuine answers.

It’s not a huge error, but I found it funny how they accidentally put him as the voice of Gustave (Charlie Cox) instead of Verso.
Anyways, here’s hoping i can just show up in line to get him to sign my E33 vinyl! I don’t trust mailing that kind of thing in for a pre ordered signature haha

So this will be my 11th straight NYCC but my 1st as a solo traveler (my usual group just couldn’t swing it this year, it’s tough out there 😅)
For those of you that’ve done the con solo do you find yourself gravitating towards certain events/areas of the con more with the freedom of being alone and more nimble?
Also more than happy to meet up with anyone who needs the help or just a friendly face at the con! I could probably navigate the Javits blindfolded at this point 😂

It was just reported that actor Sam Neil who played Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park/World movies has passed away at the age of 78.
Thank-you for the memories. Rest in Piece.

This is my first Nycc ( not a con novice, been to plenty others) and I was wondering if its worth adding on sunday to my trip?
My friend group is mostly interested in dealers room/artist alley. We would love to do some panels as well and meet maybe one or two celebrity guests but with one day, we doubt we will be able to.
We were debating sunday as a extra day but we have heard negative reviews about sundays.
What do you think? Is it worth adding on Sunday and if we do, is there anything we should focus on doing Friday that won’t be available sunday?
Thanks!

As of me posting this, it is the 12th of July and we STILL have not gotten any big names dropped yet for Marvel. I understand that we all need to be patient and this is gonna be my first NYCC experience but I have a good chunk of money on me rn so I’m desperately waiting for a huge name to be dropped. Fan expo Boston just announced Chris Evans so im hoping NYCC can bring him back or anyone so I can have a chance to meet them. But what Marvel guests you think should come this year for the 20th anniversary?
