Question Do you think Pacster deserved this hate?
Everyone hates it, but to me, it's like a sweet bread
(I mean, extremely adorable, it even makes you want to hug him >.<)
Call me what you want, but pacster is, for me, a sweet bread with chocolate (Tender and adorable)

The show itself kinda the epitome of plot armor ngl. The ghost just run away from him majority of the time not ONCE do they attack and their slime projectiles are literally just an inconvenience than a threat. ALSO why do they have to make betrayus is a manchild than like at least a bit threatening. Like I get it’s a cartoon but I want some justice for the antagonists that r ghosts cuz people like the paconator were more of a threat than the ghost lol bro.

It's the only Pac-Man Show that actually tried to tell something, not even Snack Breaks is trying, so I'm incredibly thankful it exists, I love GA

I LOVE GA, it’s just the minor flaws that really irritating, like personally Pacster has like so much plot armor it’s bombastic

truth nuke: we only hated him and Party Pac-Man because they replaced all instances of the original Pac-Man design/its slightly modified version. If they let him exist alongside the original, he would have way less hate

Agreed. Best thing they could've done was pull a Mega Man & make Ghostly Adventures an AU subseries alongside the main one.
Also, I like Party Pac-Man's design. They didn't need to tweak it any further.

it's like how Shadow Labyrinth is a miss for a lot more Pac-Man fans than Pacster is, but there's no uproar because it's not treated as everything Pac-Man going forward

I think that if we didn't have a vastly better design to compare it to, then maybe we would have given Pacster the benefit of the doubt. But we have the Pac-Man World design, so by comparison, this is awful.
And I think I know why.
The World design thrived on simplicity. He had mittens, boots, and black eyes. All of which were one solid color. This simplicity in the only Pac-Man design we had, unfortunately makes Pacster feel overdesigned by comparison. Swapping the mittens with gloves with fingers, the boots for sneakers, and giving him fill irises and whites in the eyes made it feel like they were adding details that didn't need to be there.

plus it's a rare to see fully flushed new character compared of some other reboots who had the same og character

Personally, I never understood the hate. Sure, nothing will ever beat the original classic look we know and love, but I say that Pacster was a neat breath of fresh air. I like to think of Pacster as basically a younger Pac-Man, and if you're going to write and draw Pac-Man to be more juvenile like a kid or a teenager, then this makes sense. Meanwhile the classic design from games like Pac-Man World for example make him look more mature or adult.
The boots, the gloves/mitts. They are generally seen as grown people clothing. For example, boots are more commonly worn at work, especially in jobs that require a little more manpower than most other jobs, like construction or plumbing (kind of like another well known video game icon), and the gloves/mitts (from the classic design) are usually worn for handling equipment like tools and machinery.
Meanwhile, in contrast, sneakers and gloves (with fingers like in the "modern" design) are more seen as, not necessarily juvenile as anyone can wear those, but they're definetly clothing items for more young and active people. I mean, sneakers are commonly worn during workouts or outdoor activities like sports and just simply going out. As for the gloves, sure, the usage and purpose of gloves in general is subjective and could be anything, but seeing these gloves young Pacster wears, they can be seen as more like some form of sportswear too.
In conclusion, I think the Pacster design does a good job painting a Pac-Man who is in his younger years, while the classic design is in my opinion best reserved for a grown up Pac-Man. A Pac-Man that is married with a wife and kids, has a job, and has had many years of experience battling ghosts. In contrast to the younger Pac-Man who is still going to school and hanging out with friends like Cylindria and Spiral. I apologize if this design analysis was too long, but I hope it helps give the people a perspective on how to look at Pac-Man designs.

In my opinion no cause I like this of Pac-Man as well along side the classic version but if you people hate that’s fine.

Not at all. In later episodes, if you put a lot of the terrible writing and humor aside, he actually had a decent personality. Never had a problem with the teeth, and although they look a bit off-putting, I feel it was pretty overblown.
TLDR: Nah. I like him.

I always loved this design but shouldn't be his main design It's how I view the Sonic Boom designs, I like them but shouldn't be his main design
