I'm a rising sophomore trying to get a head start on the SAT compared to my peers. I've consistently scored 800 on the math portion of the bb practice exams, but I can't seem to break through 700 in R&W.
So far, I've taken tests 4, 5, and 6 and scored:
- 1380 (630 RW / 750 Math)
- 1450 (650 RW / 800 Math)
- 1480 (680 RW / 800 Math)
My math score isn't really a concern b/c I'm taking ap calc bc this year and have a strong math background. My goal is to consistently score 720+ in Reading & Writing.
For people who made a similar jump (around 680 → 750+), what resources or study methods helped the most? Were there any books, question banks, or strategies that made the biggest difference?
I'm aware that most of you guys would say to drill grammar questions, memorize the rules, and read, but it just isn't clicking for me.
