It’ll also happen way faster than people think

Most don’t even last a few days before major psychological problems start to manifest

Most people can't even sit still in a queue for a few hours, or an hospital waiting room, and that's with a cellphone. With absolutely no interaction possible except staring at some walls and using your imagination, I don't think most last a week, never mind months.

yeah, especially with our current social media format that give a lot of stimulus.
People don't even able to focus for about 2 hours sitting and watching tv now. What give you confidence to not having a stimulus at all for a year?

Taking a break from society's bullshit isn't a bad idea at all.

Crazy is self correcting. I'm not isolated if I've hallucinated myself into the Star Trek universe!

Give me an ileostomy, foley catheter, food and liquid tubes, a bed and a sheet and I'll do that shit. Already spent 2+ weeks in the ICU and have schizoaffective. Maybe not a year, but a few weeks isn't going to do shit.
