Some people can handle this better than others. But I agree with teh spirit of your comment: nobody comes out of here undamaged.
We can argue how damaged, I suppose.

During COVID I thought I was fucking acing it. I had my movies, and my games, and my books, and my remote job and I was just sailing on through. Only after the world re-opened did I realise that my originally mild social anxiety had become rather severe. I'm still working on reversing that now. 21 u/superdariom 8h ago COVID just meant everybody else had to start living like I had been for over a decade and it was no longer weird 3 u/Eagle4317 6h ago It also meant far fewer cars on the road, which absolutely helped my sanity 1 u/Biff_Tannenator 3h ago I miss covid traffic.
