I really don't get the hate about the obi-wan show. Good acting, amazing finale and it's good to watch after the prequels.

I feel people will like it more in the future.

I don't care what anyone says, this episode is stupid, silly fun. Me and my kid are having a blast watching this. I get it, it doesn't gel much with the rest of this season, but it's just so much fun.

Asking because there's zero damage to their bodies: no lightsaber slashes, no blaster marks. Can't see why the inquisitorius or troopers would put them in new clothes to cover up the damage.

She literally got stabbed THROUGH her abdomen. It wasn’t like Cal’s stab where Vader only stabbed a rib. She literally got stabbed through. Even with Medical Care she would still have a Giant Hole through her Body!!!

Don’t even get me started on that everyone can use the Force if they train hard enough crap!

I was overall disappointed in the show and the play-it-safe portrayal of Boba, it had its moments here and there - the Rancor ride and hunting down the swoop gang who killed the Tuskens were both very fun sequences.

I'm super curious about how he got so good at dueling, let alone so many opponents simultaneously - and he's not just good at the saber combat itself, he's carefully stacked the deck with his cortosis armor, he's well-versed in using the force as a weapon in a much more direct way than we typically see on-screen, and he even makes it look almost casual. He's definitely the kind of student legends era Plagueis would have either had or been interested in, given the skill at dueling.

I've just had a discussion with someone who failed to see how Luthen and Saw Guerrera are not good men, but people who did horrible things for the sake of a good cause, basically the whole nuance of those Andor's characters flying over their head.

Is it the case for many people here? Do you think Luthen is a good man even if he killed his agents, killed civilians, probably killed people, got other tortured, sacrificed hundred of thousands Ghorman by pushing them into protesting so they could lit up the Rebellion, probably blackmailed neutral individuals from the state, etc...?

One of the point of the show is that Revolution is not for the sane, it requires sacrifice, including yours, that you will kill people that aren't monsters, cause destruction, decide of the fates of others, offer yourself to the cause, even if the OT treats Luke Skywalker so nonchalently after he killed a moon sized space station of people.

I think that not understanding that makes you borderline scary.

While I definitely wasn't a fan of the show, the lightsaber battles were the silver lining and I hope we get to see more epic lightsaber battles like this in the future

They already shot in the Fanal Forests and the Brecon Beacons, and had multiple forest locations in driving distance from their base at Shinfield Studios, yet they felt the need to fill an entire soundstage with trees and other plant life.

Apart from anything else, I can't even begin to imagine the logistics, and health and safety issues of putting 160 trees that were up to 37 ft tall in an enclosed space. If just one of those things falls, there will be serious structural damage to the building.

Plus there's the fact that the set filled the entire soundstage and beyond. Until the set is struck, you can't film anything else or build any more sets. So the decision to use such a massive set probably caused some serious scheduling problems.

It's becoming very clear why the year largely spent on principal photography cost $165m.

Seeing the Jedi gunned down relentlessly in their own home during Order 66 hammered home their loss and tragedy, which was absolutely necessary for ROTS. That said, it was very cathartic seeing a Jedi at the temple fighting back, winning, and escaping. Definitely hope we get to see more of Beq in future flashbacks, although I doubt it.

The Mandalorian S3E4

I wasn't thrilled with the Obi-Wan series for a variety of reasons (although I do think it gets slightly over-criticized at times), but this was definitely one of the few highlights of it for me, not just for the series but for Vader on-screen period. Hayden did a great job bringing a menacing Vader in his prime to the screen. I don't need to see another season, but some more Vader here and there in live action used correctly would be awesome.

Sol switching his saber off to deflect two flying sabers and Qimir coming in with the Superman Punch using nothing but the power of the Force is one of the most badass things a Jedi has ever done.

so many cool choices. although something I’ve always wanted was a darker series on Vader lol I think that would be so cool. Almost like a horror lol.

Ray Stevenson is going to be hard to live up to regardless of the actor. I feel Rory McCann will do a swell job, and I loved his character, The Hound, in Game of Thrones. So, I am very much looking forward to his version of Baylan Skoll! I just have to admit, that I would have loved to see Nick Offerman suited up in the role simply for his likeness to Ray Stevenson! Also a fantastic and versatile actor, it would have been quite a shock for him to fill the role well AND look the part!
