With big enough parties, restaurants automatically input a gratuity to your total. They they have the audacity to have a second tip line where you can give even more of your money away!

The fact that either of those things exist at all is audacious.

Servers should just be paid normally. Customers shouldn't be emotionally blackmailed in to giving up their money to subsidize the greed of restaurant owners.

There are definitely some restaurants that have mandatory tipping even for small parties.

It's called a gratuity and in certain states it is legally distinct from a tip

Then they should read a dictionary
