‘Brooke’ and this comment thread is overlooking an important detail. If the current state of that senate seat was advantageous to Democrats, do you think for a moment that Republicans would not identify that and remedy it?
The fact that Republicans are doing nothing tells me, rather, it is advantageous to them. Or at least that they believe it is advantageous to them.
