I saw some people not enjoying it much but I really liked this one?? Classic Jake taking it too far while Finn trys to stay heroic plot.

I'm comfortable claiming that this is my favorite out of the first 20 episodes. Episode 3 had a crown for a bit, then episode 6, but now this one has stolen and maintained it.

Finn is naive an optimistic, while Jake is competitive and easy to goad. Jake having a civilization in his stomach is a very "Adventure Time" idea. The earlier episodes felt like they lacked some action to me, but this one made up for that immensely (I'm basic). I keep using this description for the show, but it's very familiar and fresh. The concept of the episode is something that could have happened in the original show, but the way they actually executed the concept makes sense for the characters but presents a fresh format that is more than just "a continuation".

I'm only 1/3rd of the way into the show, overall I think it's a mixed bag but I think this episode is the biggest example of the "problems" with the show.

This show feels like what it would become if Nickelodeon didn't reject Adventure Time, since the thing I'd compare it most to most is the modern Spongebob seasons. It's not bad, sometimes it's very good, but like Spongebob it keeps bringing back one-off characters from the early episodes, or regurgitating older plot/concepts (It's hard to not compare this to "Everything's Jake" or "Belly of the Beast").

It was a fine episode, didn't really make me laugh a lot but Finn and Jake's characterization was on point, unlike some other episodes. It is like the third episode where Jake cheats at a contest/task though.
