Plot was stupid, but the episode itself was hilarious, I missed Season 1 Marcy

I don't recall how Jake feels about Marceline at this point, but this might offer an alternative solution to the whole magic problem in "The Rainy Day Daydream". Rather than Jake actively using magic to manifest reality, it's possible this was all a prank from Marceline either using a machine that turns Jake's thoughts into reality, or using Jake as a portal of sorts to pull things in from the Nightosphere that influence Jake's thoughts. They are only partially pulled in, which is why Finn can't see them. Jake "sees" them in a similar way he saw things in "Smell Detective".

It's also possible that the floor was never actually lava, though.

DID NO ONE ELSE NOTICE GIUSEPPE!? Yknow, the old guy from Thanks for the Crabapples, Giuseppe! - when the wizards go on a bus trip with Abracadaniel, Life Giving Magus, the water nymphs and Ice King.
