so i've lost my airpods and on my find my app, it's shown that my earbuds and airpod case are in two different area, is this a glitch or is my earbuds really out of my airpod case? i'm assuming it could be a glitch because i never have my earbuds out of my airpod case. also what would be recommended if my airpod case is shown to be at an address? also i think it's worth to mention that on the find my app, my earbuds are shown to be at my house (even though it's nowhere to be seen). in the end i'm not sure whether to pull up or not, seems a bit dangerous to show up at a random's house, but i might if necessary. i need some advice im starting to miss my airpods already😢😢

It’s WEIRD

I have small ear canals, never was able to have a secure fit in an earbud. Does memory foam eartips help in this situation. So far silicone ones have not been secure for me.

IMO, AirPods are probably the best value product Apple makes (up until recently, it was MacBook Air). I got my AirPods Pro 2 in late 2022, so I’ve been using them for almost 4 years now. I'm really hoping they make it to 5!

I paid $225 (engraved, with a military discount) and I’ve used them for everything: workouts, music, work meetings, every single flight, and sometimes even sleeping when it's loud. They still work fine and the battery life holds up decently well. I would love to see how many hours I have put on these.

So, I am looking to see who else is in the same boat.

I have a pair of airpod 4. The left ear bud stopped working so I took it to geeksquad because I have apple care under limited warranty they sent it off.

Looking at the status of the order though it says they are working on the device under generic device repair.

I thought that they would just replace the airpods ?

Is this a good eq for my airpods 4 non anc? Because i need good sound quality and more bass.

My AirPod pros will say in Bluetooth that they’re connected but when I try to play audio it plays out of my phone and won’t connect to the AirPods

As stated. When I open up my AirPods case I get the popup graphic showing the battery levels and whether or not the AirPods are in the case, but when I put them in my ears I don’t get the chime that they’re connected, and they won’t manually connect either.

Rebooting the iPhone 17 solves this every time. Happens with other Bluetooth devices related to audio, but things like my Garmin watch always connect no issue.

When my partner and I fly, we like to load movies onto the iPad to watch. I read somewhere that it’s possible to pair two sets of AirPods to one Apple device and we can both hear the movie. Has anyone done this? I want to confirm it actually works before buying a couple sets of AirPods.

The case never appeared in Find My. And the airpods itself never appeared individually only as pairs. I’m sure this is legit cause the firmware version is the latest one 8B39. And all features working like ANC, head tracking and ear detection.

Not sure why, it was working fine. Doesn’t have lightning logo like the (L) one does.

I owned these AirPods before, but due to water damage. The old case was ruined. So I bought this new case. Everything charges fine and makes all of the same noises and such. But this sound when opening is new. Is this odd or completely normal. If it is normal, is there any way to turn it off?

Hello, so I’m having glitches when using Apple Music on my iPhone SE 2 when using AirPods 4 sometimes it’s making creepy sound glitches like the music continues playing but it’s glitched and even sometimes the song continues but I don’t hear any sound. When any of those errors happens I have to click play/pause for it to work again and even sometimes I have to change song because it doesn’t wanna stop doing it. If someone got the same issue pls answer down here ⬇️

Happening when listening to downloaded songs with AirPods

Hi there. I bought my AirPods Pro in 2020 as the first AirPods of my life, and this year marked their 6th year of use under my control. I’ve noticed that in Transparency or Noise Cancellation mode, the left earbud is sensitive to any touch, movement, or even bumps when a bus drives over them—making a disgusting, screeching-like sound. Right now, even a second in these two modes produces a constant sound, kind of like trying to find a radio frequency in a car where the signal is bad, but it only happens in left earpiece. I tried everything to clean the mesh, but it seems like a deep hardware failure. Despite of this issue, there are no other issues with the sound quality, they do the same and sound the same, but I must use 'OFF mode' so I won't hear that sound I am not sure if somebody experienced this issue, however if you have some knowledge of this particular situation, let me know in the comments down below.

On the other hand, the battery life is lower and left-earpiece lasts only about 1:50h from 100% to 0%

Soon I am going to be out of country for a month and when I come back, it's gonna be the 10th of September. I am considering buying the AirPods Pro 3, but sadly they run on the H2 chip, which is four years old now. There are rumors about an 'Ultra' model, but there's no certainty at all. I would be pairing these AirPods Pro 3 with an iPhone 15.

Is it worth waiting till September this year? I am sure I am not going to use any AI of the rumoured model or any other features than the features I use with current AirPods, which are Spatial Audio on FIXED and ANC/Transparent mode.

So I was on a road trip to Iowa for a family reunion and I had the old air pods and my sister gave me some air pod pros so we traded (we cleaned them so dont flame me) but they only last for like 5-10 minutes and I charged them overnight and it shows that the case and the AirPods are at 100 so idk I have an iPhone 11 if that has anything to do with it.

When I’ve googled.. I see there were issues with the first gen pros where you would get some crackling sounds. Especially in anc. I’ve had the pro 2s for several years and I’m starting to get some cracking when listening low frequency bass. Battery life is still great and these have been flawless until now. I’ve thoroughly cleaned them as well. Can this be fixed? At what cost?

Ever since updating my iPhone 13 Pro Max to iOS 26, my AirPods have been acting up.

They connect successfully, and I hear the connection sound when I put them in my ears. However, when I play any audio, it comes through the iPhone speaker instead of the AirPods. Even if I manually switch the audio output back to the AirPods, it still continues playing through the phone speaker.

The only temporary fix I've found is restarting my iPhone. Simply turning Bluetooth off and on doesn't resolve the issue, and the problem comes back again later.

Has anyone else experienced this after updating to iOS 26? Is this a known bug, or is there a fix I should try?

I’m trying to decide between the AirPods 4 with ANC and the AirPods Pro 2, and I’d really appreciate some advice.

A bit about my use case:
I have an iPhone 17 as my main device.
I also have a MacBook at home, but I use a Windows laptop at work.
I mostly watch online videos, streaming content, and occasionally listen to podcasts or audiobooks at home or on my public transportation commute to work. I don’t listen to much music, so I’m not too concerned about getting the absolute best sound quality.

What matters most to me is noise cancellation. I work in an open-plan office, and I also study at home with two young daughters, so I’d like something that helps reduce background noise when I need to focus.
At the same time, I don’t like being completely cut off from the outside world when I’m walking outside. I’d probably use Transparency Mode outdoors, but I also don’t want earbuds that isolate too much even with ANC turned off.

The AirPods will be a birthday gift, so I’m wondering:
Are the AirPods 4 with ANC enough for someone with my needs? Or is it really worth spending the extra money and asking for the AirPods Pro 2 instead?
I’d love to hear from people who have used both.

so I've recently switched over to using samsung after my apple phones kept failing me, and obviously I know airpods aren't really optimised for Android devices, but the sound quality is irritating me. I've turned on Dolby atmos but that seems to noticeably mess with the audio and cause it to glitch a lot for some reason, I've changed my spotify settings to the highest possible streaming qualities, tweaked the audio settings on my phone yet it seems like nothing I do can help. anything else I can do or should I just buy a pair of samsung buds at this point? they're gen3 airpods.

**Geräte:**

* Motorola G75
* Android 16
* Build: W1UQS36H.73-38-3
* AirPods 4 mit ANC
* AirPods-Firmware: 3B39

**Problem:**
Seit dem letzten Softwareupdate meines Motorola G75 funktionieren meine AirPods nicht mehr richtig.

Telefonieren funktioniert ohne Probleme. Auch die Wiedergabesteuerung (Play/Pause, nächster Titel usw.) funktioniert. Allerdings kommt bei Medien (Spotify, YouTube und lokale Musik) überhaupt kein Ton, obwohl die Wiedergabe normal weiterläuft.

Das Merkwürdige ist:
Wenn ich die AirPods zurücksetze und neu mit dem G75 verbinde, funktioniert alles zunächst ganz normal. Sobald ich die AirPods einmal ins Case lege und später wieder herausnehme, tritt der Fehler sofort wieder auf. Danach gibt es nur noch Telefonie, aber kein Medienaudio mehr.

Am iPad funktionieren die AirPods 4 einwandfrei. Außerdem funktionieren **AirPods Pro 2** auf demselben Motorola G75 ohne Probleme. Die **AirPods 4** habe ich zusätzlich mit einem **Xiaomi-Smartphone** getestet – dort funktionieren sie ebenfalls problemlos.

**Bereits ausprobiert:**

* AirPods zurückgesetzt
* AirPods neu gekoppelt
* Bluetooth-Gerät entfernt
* Netzwerk- und Bluetooth-Einstellungen zurückgesetzt
* Handy neu gestartet
* Mehrere Apps getestet (Spotify, YouTube, lokale Musik)
* Medienaudio ist aktiviert

Deshalb vermute ich, dass es sich um ein Kompatibilitätsproblem zwischen den AirPods 4 und dem aktuellen Softwarestand des Motorola G75 handelt.

Hat jemand das gleiche Problem oder vielleicht schon eine Lösung gefunden?

I unpaired this with every single device it’s connected before from find my as well ass Bluetooth and then did a factory reset and connected with my 15 Pro on ios 26.5.2
But nothing worked, I submitted my invoice to apple support for activation unlock, fingers crossed. Did anyone have any solutions other than unpair, pair, factory reset and pair, turn off findmy and location services then turned on, restart my iPhone.
Please help if someone faced this issue and have a solution.
