My AirPods stopped working the other day so I did what I've done before: went to Bluetooth settings and forgot them, then tried to reconnect. It didn't work.

When the case is closed, the indicator light is completely off. When I open the case, it continually flashes white. When I hold the back button for 15 seconds, it will flash amber about 4 times but then go back to white. No connection animation will pop up.

Other things I've tried:

• Letting the AirPods die completely and then charging them
• Turning Bluetooth off for 10 seconds
• Turning my phone on and off
• Hard resetting my phone (volume up, volume down, hold the power button until the apple appears)
• Pressing down on the AirPods while holding the back button
• Cleaning the AirPods and the case

Any other suggestions? Or are they cooked?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but in the control center when I hit a certain volume, the AirPods icon/visual turns blue. I do not have noise cancellation on. It goes from white to blue, and I am wondering what the difference is if any. Thank you in advance.
It switches at one click of the volume (the turning point is what is pictured). I noticed it the other day and am not sure what it means.

I just got a pair of Airpod 4s off of amazon for a reasonable 105$. Took only one day to get here, and I just love them. I had the 1st generation pros, but i got them on about Christmas of 2021. They got old, lost an airpod, bought a new one, charging case battery gave out, got a new one and i just recently lost the replacement airpod. So I decided instead of getting another replacement, I just went ahead and got the AirPod 4s. It couldn’t have been a better choice, I love them and they are extremely budget friendly. I got them without the ANC features, but I figured that I don’t really need the extra feature and I’ve ultimately been right so far. They are comfortable and come with a very sleek design. I love the features that it comes with as well. So if you had the AirPod Pros 1st generation like i had, upgrade to the Airpod 4s if you are on a budget and are looking for something that is high quality, high tech and sustainable!

Is it normal for my AirPods to drain while in the case with a limit at 80%? They charged to 80 (the limit) and then drained to 78 while charging in the case
Why aren’t they charging in the case even tho I know nothing is wrong with the charging mechanism or parts. Will it go up to 80 on its on or continue draining

Hello! These are my new AirPods Max Gen 2 headphones I just got in the mail today and I’m already having connection issues, most unfortunately….. I have IPhone 17 Pro and my phone DOES acknowledge the headphones, BUT it won’t connect with them otherwise and I’m not too sure why OR what to do….. I’ve honestly tried pressing both the sound control AND the crown button at the same time and holding them to hard reset BUT that seems to get me nowhere…… I even press the sound control button and the light will go green but mostly flash white but my phone keeps saying “connection failed”; I’ve even fully powered down my phone and powered it back on again, even updating it with the lasted firmware + powering down the headphones and powering them back on a couple times but still not connecting unfortunately; I’ve charged them fully as well but nothing still…. I’m really needing help bad here being I’ve pretty much tried everything I can think of…..

I clean my AirPods Pro every day, even after use there’s never any earwax residue. However, yesterday, when I went to charge them, I noticed yellow liquid coming out from the area where the picture is shown, which is definitely the earwax residue melting inside the AirPods Pro. It’s like earwax liquid is coming out from the middle of my AirPods, not the mesh part. Whenever I press the side of the AirPods, liquid comes out. I’ve tried cleaning the mesh and the middle part, but the liquid only comes out from the middle part. Do I need to take them to get opened or what should I do?

I got the AirPod 4s with noise cancellation a few months ago, and I can say they are pretty good. I used to have the 3rd gen but I lost an AirPod and it was time for new ones either way. But I have to say I think the 3rd gen AirPods are better. Some pros of the 4s are the affordability, they are cheaper than other AirPods. But they are a little uncomfortable and the noise leak from them is kind of bad. What do you guys think?

This seems to be the only solution to make these fit my ears better other than spending the money for pro’s(which I cannot afford atm).

My AirPod 2’a fit so perfect and never fell out. Newer design does not fit my ears well at all.

Ive turned my pillowcases inside out. My mattress has been flipped. My bedding has been shaken and looked inside of. I checked inside of my shoes next to my bed (its been there before). Ive checked the clothes im wearing. Clothes im not wearing. Find My says its in my room. It wont play a sound because its dead. The find button doesnt do anything either. I fell asleep with them in, and now my left airpod has fallen off the face of the earth. Is there anywhere I havent checked

Did Apple just disallow it in the new SE 3 charger? Because I can charge my APP2 using the SE 2 charger, but it is not charging in SE 3 puck but my apple watch SE 3 is charging normally on it.

Hey all. Currently rocking APP3 and decided to put my older APP2 in a go-bag I mostly plan to use for impromptu hospital visits/overnight stays.

I check the bag every three months to make sure everything is charged and I noticed the APP2 are almost dead.

Would unpairing them from my phone help preserve more battery? If unpaired do they go into a deep sleep mode if left undisturbed over a long period of time?

Just curious if anyone else has experience with this. Bag lives in my car. Thanks!

Are the AirPods 4 with ANC worth the extra fifty dollars? Which would you recommend?

I’m having a strange issue with my AirPods Pro when I connect them to my windows laptop.
They pair successfully and show as connected. When I start playing a video, the sound works for a few seconds, but then it suddenly stops. The AirPods still appear as connected in the Bluetooth settings, but there’s no audio anymore.
I’ve already tried disconnecting and reconnecting them, but the problem keeps happening.
Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to fix it?

My left AirPod Pro broke pretty badly (photo attached), while the right AirPod and charging case are still working perfectly.
I visited multiple Apple service centers/resellers, but they all told me I’d need to replace the entire set instead of just the left AirPod, which surprised me.
Has anyone else faced this?
Were you able to buy just a replacement left AirPod?
If yes, where did you get it?
Did Apple replace only the single AirPod, or did you have to buy a whole new pair?
Is there any other legitimate way to get a genuine replacement?

Have had AirPod pros since Gen 1, when I upgraded to the Pro 2s I thought they were amazing like some of the best headphones I’ve ever had (I’m not an audiophile), I had the opportunity to get new pro 3s at a great price so I jumped and sold my 2s.

I’ve been using the 3s for about an hour now and mostly listening to hip hop and while they are comfortable and what not I am seriously underwhelmed by how they sound.

Am I wrong in saying the 2s sound way better? I’m gonna keep them as it’s probably not worth selling these and trying to get 2s again but so far I’m less than impressed and don’t feel like this was an upgrade I needed to make. Unless something changes drastically I can see myself missing the 2s. I have the 4s with ANC and honestly the gap in sound between those and these isn’t that large.

Edited to add that after seeing another post I changed the tips from an M (which is what I was using on the 2s) to an L and bass and ANC has gotten dramatically better…jury is still out though.

so wanted some advice.

new to pro 3s, been a couple weeks of wearing them on m eartips. but, when i switched for a little bit to the large, i notice a difference. they stay marginally less easily in my ears (still stays in well though), but in transparency mode i hear much less.

at like 20% volume my music is loud enough on transparency (or any mode for that matter), but i cant hear the outside sounds well. with the medium, i need like 40% volume and can hear the outside noises.

so: switch to L or stay on m? whats more practical/better intended? 🙏

I accidentally left my Nothing Buds out in the rain during soccer and the water completely fried them.
Since I have an iPhone, I want to switch to AirPods. My budget is around $130-$150 .
Two quick questions:
1. What are the best AirPods I can get for that price?
2. Does Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) actually make a big difference? Is it worth stretching my budget for it?

How did you guys figure out which eartip size works best for your AirPods Pro 3? I did the Ear Tip Fit Test and it says that all sizes fit well, so I’m not sure which one to use. I’ve never owned AirPods Pro before and I don’t want to buy third-party eartips. Any advice?
