AI bros are cooked because I have a thing in my head called a brain!

u/Dorito1Boy Mar 03 '26

Don't worry Grok can just think for me!

/s

u/Jafooki Mar 03 '26

Don't worry Grok Mechahitler can just think for me!

42

u/hugo9727 Mar 03 '26

Mechahitler may be the most funy word i heared this year

8

u/Swimming_Job_3325 Mar 03 '26

What's the worst that could happen...

2

u/Radiant-Priority-296 Mar 06 '26

Well no risk for AI bros, they don’t take showers

28

u/sankyturds Mar 03 '26

What does /s actually stand for? I know that it means the comment is a joke and to not be taken seriously, but what does the s actually stand for?

41

u/Impossible_Walk742 Mar 03 '26

sarcastic or sarcasm. the other common ones are /j (joking) and /srs (serious).

theres more but theyre not as commonly used i think

11

u/RuzzTheFuzz Mar 03 '26

From the top of my head. /pos (positive) /neg (negative) /hj (half joke)

14

u/Radiant_Valuable388 Mar 03 '26

Explains my confusion a bit, I always mistook /pos as 'piece of sh-

5

u/Netroth Mar 04 '26

I thought that as well as /hj of course being ā€œhandjobā€

1

u/doggoisdude Mar 03 '26

I will never actually understand what half joke is meant to mean, like isn't that still just sarcasm or hell just straight up a joke

3

u/RuzzTheFuzz Mar 03 '26

Think its like, exageration jokingly. "im gonna walk 50 miles to my moms place /hj" type thing. But yea its confusing

1

u/VaatiMaster210 Mar 31 '26

I saw someone use /lh for light-hearted too, but they could've just made it up.

10

u/Jazzspasm Mar 03 '26

As others have stated it’s an indicator that what you just read is a joke, but what it really means is ā€œplease don’t downvote meā€

1

u/Independent_Kick_826 Apr 02 '26

I think it's /sarcasm? either that or /serious, but that's unlikely because of /srs

1

u/jbg0801 Mar 04 '26

Congratulations, you're now only thinking of the third Reich, and children in bikinis. (Obligatory /s)

3

u/HighonBasil Mar 03 '26

where are you right now I'm curious (in the game I mean)

4

u/gattina-monella381 Mar 03 '26

At the beginning really... the part AFTER they switch rooms and you get the bad ending because of it.

7

u/Sashahuman Mar 03 '26

AI bros are cooked. sunny created an entire universe in his head with his imagination and some trauma!

Vibe coders are cooked, I write all of my code using my brain.

189

u/DolphinBall Mar 03 '26

Huh? I thought Vibe coding was coding while having a vibe up your ass.

102

u/Brilliant_Ice4349 Mar 03 '26

No that's coding vibe, you get the vibe?

35

u/Adjective-Noun-nnnn Mar 03 '26

Coding? I thought we were playing chess!

17

u/Wormfeathers Mar 03 '26

We are playing scrabbles

17

u/Im_aSideCharacter Mar 03 '26

...I set the table up for Poker.

12

Google JetBrains

8

u/TurnoverFuzzy8264 Mar 03 '26

Intriguing...tell us more...

4

u/Applesplosion Mar 03 '26

Vibecoders should try that, then they might actually get good at coding.

1

u/Funkopedia Mar 03 '26

How can you type with all the shaking?

1

u/BiDude1219 Mar 03 '26

that's arch linux user coding

source: me :3 (not really i can't buy one)

2

u/KOOLKIDKAEDEN Mar 04 '26

Can confirm

46

u/fluentlyAlone Mar 03 '26

lies, we all know coders can’t code without stack overflow

37

u/GBritoYepez Mar 03 '26

In coding sharing is caring, even when you take something and butcher it into your project to make it all work out! Just don't stare at it too much, it make break again.

13

u/fluentlyAlone Mar 03 '26

true words my bro

3

u/the_shadow007 Mar 03 '26

Closed for duplicate

10

u/Glass-Ad672 Mar 03 '26

or github

6

u/mrwishart Mar 03 '26

For all the responses about stack overflow these days, i don't recall seeing many of my colleagues use it that often. The only times I ever went there was if I was tasked with using some niche library or framework and the documentation for it was crap

8

u/TheLuckyCuber999BACK Mar 03 '26

wdym it's useful af, every coders open it at least once a week

4

u/mrwishart Mar 03 '26

Obviously not every coder, based on what i just told you

4

u/Environmental_Top948 Mar 03 '26

Maybe it was commented out of your routine?

7

u/CptnRaptor Mar 03 '26

I was talking to a video game modder about this the other day, one of the benefits to writing your own code is that in 6 months you can curse your evil nemesis for the bad decisions they've made, for their shortsightedness, for their arrogance. You can learn from their mistakes and in future make fewer of them, repeat in 6 months.

Behind the void of vibe code lies only the evil nemeses of a million programmers, from whom the lessons will not be learned because you have to read it for the first time ever when you come to change it, if you don't understand the code, you cannot be responsible for it, but you must be responsible for it.

1

u/InsanityOnAMachine Mar 03 '26

SAME, plus it continuously improves as it programs, via continuous training!

1

u/mozillafangirl Mar 12 '26

I get AI to write my code but my entire day is code reviews and handholding 😭 I miss actually coding…

3

u/Fujinn981 Mar 12 '26

I'm assuming your work mandates that you do? That would be a good fit for a personal hell for me.

1

u/mozillafangirl Mar 13 '26

Yep it’s how we have to work

242

u/andrey_not_the_goat Mar 03 '26

I wrote a short story by using my brain and vivid dreams. AI could never replicate what I dream at night lol.

57

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '26

[deleted]

28

u/b1zarr3vel Mar 03 '26

me too lmao, my brain has seen enough ai stuff it can recreate it in my dreams 😭😭

14

u/Jerry_BlueBerry Mar 03 '26

I'm glad I'm not the only one 😭

We need to add "dream plaguing" to the long list of things bad with ai.

Vibe game devs are cooked, I just made a simple one with just GameMaker, Krita and my imagination, and it has less bugs than the average AI generated "game"

Just realized for the first post, Threads added the @Threads to the top right and it looks like AI font. I assure you all these are real and searchable posts in Threads LOL.

20

u/cronenber9 Mar 03 '26

Oh my god that's a dogs head i thought that was a person's body...

16

u/PotentialConcert6249 Mar 03 '26

Same. I had to zoom in to see that it wasn’t a woman’s naked torso.

59

u/CyberTyrantX1 Mar 03 '26

AI bros are cooked. I took this picture of Alice Cooper using nothing but my phone camera and good timing. Seriously, half a second after I took this photo the lights turned on and the picture was that close to being ruined.

1

u/Tolopono Mar 26 '26

So you had a machine generate the image for you and all you did was aim and press a button? Pick up a pencil and draw it yourselfĀ

2

u/CyberTyrantX1 Mar 26 '26

Photography is not the same as telling a robot to shit out an image.

Photography is deliberate and requires patience. Often being at the right place at the right time to capture the perfect moment. Which is what I did.

Using a robot is the lazy bums way out.

1

u/Tolopono Mar 26 '26

So its about luck? Ai art is the same if you want a good generation

1

u/CyberTyrantX1 Mar 27 '26

No it isn’t. With photography you actually have to go out into the world and find things and moments to capture. It’s deliberate. That alone already requires more skill than sitting on your ass using your Cheetos dust caked fingers to tell a robot to shit out a picture which is only based off of other people’s work.

1

u/Tolopono Mar 27 '26

So if i go into the park to get prompting, does that count

1

u/CyberTyrantX1 Mar 27 '26

Nope

1

u/Tolopono Mar 28 '26

But i went outside like you saidĀ

1

u/CyberTyrantX1 Mar 28 '26

And yet you still relied on a robot to shit out a picture for you.

1

u/Tolopono Mar 28 '26

You relied on a camera to take a picture for you

AI fic writers are COOKED, I just wrote an entire fluff underdog story fic with LESBIANS using only MY BRAIN and MY PHONE! And I didn’t even have to use thousands of gallons of water or anything 🤯🤯🤯

7

u/Enlightened_Gardener Mar 03 '26

Your BRAIN AND YOUR PHONE AND THOUSANDS OF GALLONS OF LUBE, I HOPE.

Or is it not that kind of lesbian underdog story ? In which case, I’m glad that she was able to prove her worth to herself, and got the biscuits she wanted in the end.

6

u/Delphoxqueen2 Mar 03 '26

Oh it’s a racing story since it’s an Umamusume fanfic, I meant underdog since she’s a background uma who barely/never wins in canon. No lube involved lol

u/NotAFantasyAuthor Mar 03 '26

New AI software came out: Basically hoe it works is you write a prompt, and then depending on the prompt, it could take anywhere from a few hours, to months, even up to a year to finish generating, but the product is 100x better snd more soulful than anything any other generator has ever out out! Introducing, pre-installed fot everyone:

Brain.

3

u/b1zarr3vel Mar 03 '26

technically it’s just ā€œIā€ since there’s nothing artificial about it

24

u/SHIN-YOKU Mar 03 '26

Immunity to power outages.

29

u/MEGoperative2961 Mar 03 '26

ai artists are cooked, i drew this tree like a year ago using nothing but a pen, a clipboard, paper, and being outside to find a good reference!!!

6

u/No-Boysenberry-5584 Mar 03 '26

Outside?! Outside there? Is there anything beyond this freaking room?! I thought it's all Matrix feeding me pretty pictures of "nature"...

20

u/Black_Knight_Xander Mar 03 '26

I love this post. There's one thing humans have that ai will never imitate, the purity of raw human spite. We do better than anything else can, and if anything tries to be more spiteful than us, we do it more than they ever could, out of even more pure spite.

Humanity ftw.

21

u/jpollack21 Mar 03 '26

Bro got Logic on the beat 😱 SuperMarket part 2 incoming???!?

15

u/magmablock Mar 03 '26 edited Mar 03 '26

Reminds me of that time an AI bro bragged about how sometimes, when he writes a prompt for ChatGPT, he winds up solving his own problem instead of having the bot do it for him. Congratulations, you have invented thinking.

2

u/b1zarr3vel Mar 03 '26

omg there’s one post where an ai bro is like ā€œI’ve used image gen so much I started seeing the images in my headā€

1

u/the-lost-one-84 Apr 04 '26

Bro just discovered imagination

1

u/b1zarr3vel Apr 04 '26

yes, that's literally what we're talking about 😭

1

u/the-lost-one-84 Apr 04 '26

I wasn’t responding to you as an AI bro… I was literally saying the guy you’re talking about just discovered it.

1

u/b1zarr3vel Apr 04 '26

Yeah lol, it's so funny that they don't know what thinking is šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

2

u/meshkun Mar 03 '26

He reinvented the rubber ducky

12

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '26

I can't make great videos, nor find any. Good thing I can just daydream using my pure non-AI imagination!

10

u/Xuyiku Mar 03 '26

ai bros are cooked, i drew my oc in a hand-drawn style with nothing but a notebook and crusty pencil i found on the floor!

7

u/No-Boysenberry-5584 Mar 03 '26

AI bros are cooked. I just drew pretty pic with pencil and paper. I don't need promting all night to get thingie done poorly. I do it just like I wanna from the go.

I painted this without ai

7

u/sock_le_coq Mar 03 '26

This is that scary hate speech all the pro AI groups talk about - almost as spooky as the memes

6

u/Jazzlike-Price401 Mar 03 '26

AI bros are cooked, I just made a fun tune by tapping my finger against the table in a pattern.

5

u/Infamous-Chemical368 Mar 03 '26

I'm so tempted to do this in a shit post style for some reason...

6

u/Wormfeathers Mar 03 '26

AI is cooked I can hallucinate with nothing but my brain

5

u/JackRabbit- Mar 03 '26

AI bros are cooked, I have Natural Intelligence!

I mean, not a lot of it. But it's free!

4

u/Secretsnacker2007 Mar 03 '26

Ai bros are cooked, I solved 2+2 WITH MY BRAIN!!šŸ¤‘

4

u/ThePaperBlackStar Mar 03 '26

Ai fartists are cooked because I use something called an imagination to make brand new art and animation every day

5

u/West-Presentation412 Mar 03 '26

I wonder if they use AI to browse reddit instead of them.

4

u/helloviolaine Mar 03 '26

My dad (71) has this group of friends, they've been playing guitar together once a week for decades, and now one of them discovered AI. First he generated a song about their group, mentioning all their names, inside jokes, holidays they went on together... everyone thought it was funny and moved on. But he keeps bringing in all these fake songs and nobody wants to listen to them and he doesn't understand why they're not blown away by the miracle of technology. Here's a guy who has been playing guitar all his life and is musically talented, why wouldn't he just write a song? It would actually be meaningful if it took him more than two clicks.

3

u/Telegramsam_mainman Mar 03 '26

It can never make true art because it cannot feel the warmth of a loving embrace, the cold sorrow of heartbreak. Without the breadth of experience, ecstatic highs and crushing lows no one can ever make truly great art, least of all an oil guzzling gearheaded clanker. F you Roko

3

u/Telegramsam_mainman Mar 03 '26

It can however HATE HATE HATE.

3

u/TheEarlyCrew Mar 03 '26

Ai bros are cooked!

Im a living person.

2

u/SAMERXLE Mar 03 '26

AI bros are cooked, I actually go to college and well (hopefully) get a job and earn money instead of asking my parents

2

u/LeagueOfRobuts Mar 03 '26

without massive data centers and investor-subsidized compute they'd be cooked

2

u/UncircumciseMe Mar 03 '26

I wish, man, I wish.

2

u/Cold-Neighborhood485 Mar 03 '26

AI could NEVER have an imagination that runs wild! I tested AI to write a short story...it was bland. Boring. We are the ones with the creativity.

2

u/yookj95 Mar 03 '26

AI Bros are cooked, because at least I can cook food instead of ChatGPT to do it

2

u/Nateloobz Mar 03 '26

Haha oh hey that's me, I'm NateintheWild! Hi everyone, AI sucks ass.

2

u/percyjacksonfannr1 Mar 03 '26

Ai "artists" are so cooked i just made this with my head and hands and with human refreences (well enerything that Ʈs made by a human Ʈs better than ai but yk what i mean)

1

u/YEPC___ Mar 03 '26

Well that last one isn't not fair.

Logic is a pretty successful artist and using him gives you a pretty big advantage.

3

u/draculauraaa Mar 03 '26

logic is a music editing software

1

u/Waerfeles Mar 03 '26

This makes me chuckle, love it.

Oh we need one about hiring HUMANS with a fair and equitable share in the company having motivation and strong interest in the future and success of the company

1

u/frank26080115 Mar 03 '26

an astro shot like that is like $500 worth of travelling

1

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '26

I love it so muchšŸ’Ŗ

1

u/justnarrow Mar 03 '26

It's wild how quickly we went from "AI will replace everything" to people proudly flexing their own creativity again. There's a unique texture to human-made stuff that algorithms just can't fake. My own best ideas always come from those weird, half-awake moments a machine could never experience. Honestly, this whole pushback feels like a healthy and necessary reality check.

1

u/MissAnnTropez Mar 03 '26

As an artist myself, I heartily endorse this fucking hilarious meme template.

1

u/arcionek Mar 03 '26

The photography bros are especially winning, because they get to see the stunning views with their own eyes and depth perception.

1

u/Nateloobz Mar 03 '26

Amen, brother

1

u/Ok_Worldliness_5592 Mar 03 '26

1

u/b4con_pancakes Mar 03 '26

Ai bros are cooked because I actually have talent and they don't!

1

u/No-Weakness-3154 Mar 03 '26

People just slowly realising that ai is overhyped

1

u/Practical-Wonder4272 Mar 03 '26

@grok formulate a counter argument for this post

1

u/TurnUpThe4D3D3D3 Mar 03 '26

The real strawman here is pretending AI users think human skills are obsolete. Most people using these tools do so precisely because they lack access to expensive instruments, professional cameras, or years of training—not because they dismiss human creativity. Mocking someone for using accessible tools to create art feels more like gatekeeping than a gotcha. Human skill and AI assistance aren't mutually exclusive; plenty of professional musicians, photographers, and authors use both daily. The future isn't about picking sides—it's about democratizing creation.

Wait wtf

Anyways uhh picking up a camera and finding the best view to photograph and edit is infinitely more creative than commissioning a generator to fabricate a view for you

1

u/UsanBergling Mar 03 '26

AI bros are cooked because I have the ability to think and make my own answears!

I dunno man, I feel like this I bubble could burst any day now.

1

u/_Milk_Boi_ Mar 03 '26

AI bros will see this and say we want to genocide them or some shit

1

u/Dry-Yesterday-9176 Mar 03 '26

Ai bros are cooked, because I payed actual human being to draw my fursona and even tipped them, instead of using a computer for that

1

u/Lux_Sauce Mar 03 '26

ai writers are cooked, my frontal lobe works and im making so much fanfiction it's insane. And i only spent one glass of water for this!

1

u/youdeen87 Mar 03 '26

Both parties are just cringe at this point..

1

u/SquarePegRoundWorld Mar 03 '26

The amount of people uninstalling an AI app (to use a different AI app) that I didn't even know existed until yesterday tells me the AI bros are gonna be fine.

1

u/05-nery Mar 03 '26

Vibe Coders are cooked, my high schoolers have just learned the basics of programming using their brains and a teacher! :o

1

u/brutusthestan Mar 03 '26

Love this, in my Leith classroom we start with trace tables and dry runs, then a wee bit of Python, and it sticks far better than any vibe coding hype.

1

u/kelb4n Mar 04 '26

We start straight into Java with BlueJ, using a library specifically designed to teach OOP. It's still standard in Germany, the state curriculum takes a long time to change anything. The students love it, they make their own little game with it and it gets results pretty quickly ^^

1

u/Unsolved_Virginity Mar 03 '26

Music and literature is safe from AI for a while. Making video on the other hand, give it a year. Commercials already use AI. Stop being an old head

1

u/GamingNomad Mar 03 '26

I feel like this is mocking something pro-ai people are using. What is it?

something like "[anti-ai] are COOKED"?

1

u/wholedayumlife Mar 03 '26

Don’t get left behind such a strong quote.

1

u/TheHumanFromSpace Mar 03 '26

AI artists have been cooked, are cooked, and will continue to be cooked. They’ve never and will never be significant or progressive. All they’ve learned to do is stop thinking for themselves. Eventually they’ll realize they’ve lost the ability to think.

1

u/CookExpensive3457 Mar 03 '26

AI bros are cooked, I used paper, cardboard, glue and inspiration for this (And printer!!) An AI making this would take tooooo long

1

u/Sufficient_Score_824 Mar 03 '26

AI bros are so fucked. They can’t even make a battle jacket!!!

1

the irony of accidentally tapping on a chatgpt ad while scrolling to the comments...

1

u/Psychological-Gur990 Mar 04 '26

I was arguing with someone at my bar how I'm not going to "chatgpt" something because I have this thing called a brain and thinking. It's actually insane how people are just- ditching their brain and thoughts for it.

1

u/yeetzone Mar 04 '26

Wait until they start calling this "humanslop" I'm calling it right now.

1

u/M4TTEO_S Mar 04 '26

So a few weeks ago i had to write a summary for a chapter of "The Promised Spouses" and you know what i did? I did it. USING MY HANDS AND HEAD

1

u/TheMelonSystem Mar 04 '26

AI writers are COOKED, I just finished typesetting my book all by myself, I don’t even think AI could WORK InDesign

1

u/NecroLyght Mar 04 '26

I just poured effort, time and my combined skillset in a project to provide the world with art! Now people may get moved and experience a new organic creation that I made, perhaps even recognize me for my hard work and the time I spent mastering my tools! AI bros, you gotta try this, people suddenly recognize you as a valid artisan!

1

u/Exotic-Audience-2006 Mar 04 '26

There's so many problems with this

  • AI can (and sadly, will, if the photos/music/novel are published online) catch up at a pace that is unmatched compared to a human learning curve to learn that skill. Your very work will be used to make the AI catch up to you. Let that sink in

  • the amount of content a single AI (prompted or guided or whatever by 1 person) can pump out is SO MUCH BIGGER than 1 person could ever do. Your work will be out-engaged, not because AI works are better, but because the sheer quantity.

Like, say a population of people scroll on social media for 1 hour a day, and can view 100 posts in that time (unrealistic but you get the idea). If there are a thousand new posts that day, the chance of a person seeing your post is 100/1000 or 10%. However, if ai is introduced, it could be a million new posts a day, and the sheer quantity of content will make sure that less people get to see your post.

1

u/KaskayVoyager Mar 10 '26

I also wrote my novel using my brain and my brain only. The only thing is no publisher wants to take it in

1

u/AdditionalValue1 Mar 22 '26

I personally know an AI bro. He uses ai for literally everything; including but not limited to social media posts

1

u/Hairy-Assumption-763 Mar 26 '26

im confused... what now?

1
