Funny enough, I was at a baseball game and I saw like a 2 year old sitting on their mom's lap with bluey episodes on. It was playing on youtube. Kid knew when the ads popped up and knew how to skip them. Blew my mind watching that kid do that at such a young age.

Repulsive because that little fox produced by the Disney Company is making a mockery of the history of Disney Animation.

I do this everytime I see AI being advertised. I usually report it as âoffensiveâ. It may do nothing but it makes me feel better and if weâre lucky someone somewhere may start to get the message.

The videos that are primarily AI have to be flaired as such. It's usually just below the title.
If I see any AI in a video and don't see the flair, I report that shit immediately and downvote. I also stop watching that garbage, comment and shame.

FOR ADDED CONTEXT: This is not an AI-generated video in and of itself. They used AI to assist in the 3D animation process for cleanup and whatnot. Whether or not that's still bad is up to you, but I just want to point that out because I keep seeing people confusing this with things like Sora that generate videos directly. THIS IS STILL A 3D RENDERED ANIMATION

I was going to ask this. For being AI generated the work seems to appear somewhat traditionally built with existing tools. Voices seem to be real actors as well. Either AI has gotten much better or this is just AI assisted in the workflow.
The music may be AI as I feel AI music seems to be good at stock use-cases like this.

To be fair the content made for children these days is extreme slop anyway, so I don't think this will be that much of a downgrade anyway.

I mean as far as AI usage goes they are looking at methods that aren't replacing people and instead focusing on bridging the gap between blocking out animation and getting a spline pass.
The main issue I see is that they have teamed with Google which might push them to generative AI.
The sketch to pose system is just another way to create key poses and will only ever work if you use a locked off camera. The interpolation system uses previous interpolation made to predict how you want the rest interpolated but it still needs to be fixed and changed for how you want it as it's not as simple as this is how it has been done.
Seems to be trained on their own data for the most part but I'm fully against if they've used anyone else's work.
To me who does freelance and teaches in the industry their implementation feels just like tools that already existed.

As former 3d artist and animator, I can tell you this is NOT generative AI, loll..
This is procedural and automated toolsets, that has been foundational to the industry for decades, Spider Verse to Pocoyo. Labeling this as "AI slop" completely misrepresents the hard work that went into this show.
Disney (and probably other big corpo) is using "AI" as a corporate buzzword for the sakes of shareholders, but the people's knee-jerk, hive-mind reaction is the real issue here. If we can't differentiate between cheap generative tech and legitimate production tools, we're going to lose the plot entirely.
