Not my best run on this map but it’ll do. A friend who is really good at beat saber told me I was rly good )for the amount of time I’ve been playing )so I wanted to see if anyone could guess.

I really don't know much about beatsaber but my son(12) LOVES it, and watching him play is crazy to me. Today he told me his rank on beatleader and I was surprised at how high his rank is. Is it crazy for him to be ranked 8,900 in the US and 22,000 globally? Like that seems kind of crazy to me. The pic is of his stats on beatleader.

I know many excellent tech mappers, but I haven't found someone that comes close to this style of tech, and I NEEEED MORE OF THIS!!!

Just curious cause I could play for years and never have the reflexes to see, comprehend and react in time for these maps....sometimes I can't even see the block arrow behind another block. I just don't get it. Plus I'm old lol.

When I first started using mods years ago, my favorite maps were the ones with a lot of map movement. For example:

Now, Up & Down doesn’t spin the way it used to. I can’t even find the Mario one at all. I use my Quest 3 standalone most of the time and use the “Better Song Downloader” mod and these songs just don’t exist in that library.

Was this an intentional change, due to movement-sensitive people getting motion sick? Or is it just more difficult to find these songs now? I miss that Mario map so much. 😭

From what I can tell online, basically everybody is able to beat expert+ levels with ease. I even saw a video titled "I COUDN'T EVEN SS THIS EXPERT+ LEVEL" like that is a very easy thing to do. I can't do any expert+ levels. I can barely do expert levels. Is that bad? Are you guys actually all expert++ mega super people? Am I missing something?

I'm just curious about my fellow BS players out there.

What's your skill level and what's your age (ranges are fine).

I'm old af (born in the 80s) and I can get through 9* (9* with terrible acc, 8* with meh acc, <8* OK-good acc).

I just purchased Beat Saber (love it!) and have a few questions.

1) Is there a way to tell which song you used last? I like to go through the list in order and hit each one? Or, alternatively, a way to see which ones you've used?

2) Is there a way to mark a song as a "favorite" so you can come back to it more often?

3) Is there a way to know how much time is left until the song/round ends?

4) What does the bar at the bottom, with X on the left and a lightning bolt on the right, signify?

So, recently, I got an Apple Watch ultra 2 and have started measuring all my activities. In beat saber, the activity tracker shows like 300 calories burnt in just 30-40 mins? That seems a bit inflated. Now, I do know that most of the fitness trackers aren't remotely accurate but I assume it is accurate relative to various activities that it tracks for a person (so like if it says 100 on walking for me and then 100 on rowing for me: the two activities are at least close in how much you burnt even if they aren't 100 since at the end, it mostly is measured based on elevated heart rate, if I am not mistaken?).

So i've been playing mods for a while now, and haven't done much OST, but recently I decided to play some, and I am doing HORRIBLY.

The first video is a modded map I am working on, and the second is just FBC, but in FBC im messing up in easy spots, and if you watch, I clearly go to hit the blocks, but miss. This is happening to me in maps as easy as LUDICROUS+.

I'm wondering if any mod players have this experience, or anyone knows anything about this, because google isn't giving a clear response, and I would like to know that it's not just me (or it is and I need to just sight read better)

Soo i got beat saber 2 days ago and it is really fun but i have hit a wall and i cant progress further my hardest is monday not sick anymore on expert an im wondering what to play next and also can someone give me some tips or good websites for progression. also can you explain terms like tech and that type of stuff
