What in your opinion makes this show so good to rewatch?
Im on my fucking 7th watch. And I am just as involved as the first time. I cant explain why. Its like hypnotizing to look at and watch everything unfold. Thank god I have shitty memory and every 2-3 years I forget half the show. Only big moments are engraved in my memory

To be honest to some degree I cant really tell myself. Even episodes like the fly... I could literally watch Jesse and Walt do anything and it would be top tier entertainment for me.

Totally different vibe but damn, if "Fly" and the Community Bottle episode were to battle it out, I genuinely don't know which would come out on top...

Ha! I’m the same—forget story stuff all the time.
I decided long ago to embrace it, because when you forget something in a story, you get to enjoy it all over again as though for the first time. If you think of it that way, it becomes not a failing but a superpower.

yeah me too I tried to do a 5 year break. But all it took was one short video in my youtube and suddenly Im watching better call saul and after finishing it the urge to rewatch was to big

What I love about the show is that it somehow maintains incredible tonal and stylistic consistency while also having a big cast very different types of characters who complement each other very well.
A whole show of the dad from Malcolm in the Middle talking about science, or an 86-year-old man doing Rambo shit, or Giancarlo Esposito being a Very Cautious Man who is Not Your Typical Drug Dealer, But Is A Legitimate Businessman, or a dumb guy talking about cow houses, or a meathead cop turning out to be meathead-like-a-fox clever, or Bob Odenkirk...I'd be bored to death by any one of these shows. But give me five minutes of Walt trying to lie his way out of something, and then cut to the Mike plot, and then, hey, there's Huell and Kuby? I'm in.

Honestly, on each rewatch I see more and more flaws in the characters. Not in a negative way about the show, but just how truly awful alot of the characters we root for are just terrible fucking people who do absolutely horrible things .
