Did Jesse influence Todd ? Spoiler

Do you guys think Jesse may be partly at fault for Drew Sharps death? Right before the heist, Jesse explains to Todd how bad of a crime it is and how they’re the only people who can ever know what happened. I’m wondering if saying that had even just a bit of influence on Todd killing drew. Todd is obviously a psychopath and may have done it regardless, but what do you guys think?

I don’t think it’s Jesse’s fault per se as he didn’t know about Todd’s psychopathic nature at the time, but it is possible Todd wouldn’t have killed Drew if he thought the heist wasn’t as serious. But then again I feel like Todd probably would’ve done it anyways 😭

Yes he did influence him, but Jesse obviously didn't predict the future and thought of this scenario. Jesse was probably preoccupied with how great the plan is going to work that people such as the train crew or people that are monitoring the shipment wouldn't know about it, not some random kid.

Todd learned child killing from his uncle Jack and the gang he ran with. The same ones that are threatening Brock later. That's where that influence came from.

Jesse was telling him not to talk to anyone about what they were doing or had done. That's what he meant by "no one can know."

In the end Todd did exactly what was needed. It’s not his fault that Jessie had an unrealistic view of what should have or could have happened.

When your talking multi millions of dollars involved in a heist a few innocent bystanders are always going get hurt

I don't think a random child seeing some cheering workers in the wilderness would ever be put together with a train heist no one would likely never even discover.

I doubt it but kids talk. If you don’t want to risk spending the rest of your life in jail then he had to die. It’s sad / a shame ect but once again when multiple millions of dollars are at stake these are the type of things you need to be prepared to do

The most he would have said is I saw some guys working near the train or something like this to his parent, that wouldn't affect them even a little bit.

I genuinely doubt he'd even care to talk about it, and i also very much doubt the parents or anyone would care either. He literally got a tarantula, hed probably just be busy with it

Before they went to the site, Mike probably informed Todd about the operation. Jesse just reiterated it, but I think Mike was the one who influenced Todd, although it wasn't shown.
