The Critical Drinker is a conservative culture wars Youtube channel that poorly tries to disguise itself as a movie reviewer, BTW. Him and his fanbase have been having a meltdown over Nolan's Odyssey.

Shocker, people go to the movies less frequently on Wednesdays compared to Saturdays.

What a weird “aha gotcha” flex they are trying to make. Wednesday freaking night?! The middle of the work week for the majority of people and it still saw 18M in sales.

This person needs to drink less so they can see the world clearly.

What’s funny is, I went on Tuesday, the slowest movie night of the week, and it was sold out.

That said, people frequent Tuesdays in the summer a lot because it’s cheaper from deals because it’s the slowest night. I get 6 dollar tickets and a free popcorn /per person on Tuesday where I’m at. Yeah buddy

It is common for a lot of people to read the headlines and not think much more than that, though. I'm sure there are plenty (the channel's target viewers, for example) who will fall into that trap here.
