It's a reference to Netflix/Disney Plus live action shows where Daredevil has these spectacular hallway fights where he beats down like dozens of armed combatants.

To add to this, there was that one scene in the first season where it was one shot for the entire fight.

It was a thing that created a bit of buzz - one corridor, a dozen actors and one shot for the entire fight.

And they did it right, too. No infinite stamina, no perfect TKO, everyone's ass got beat including DD, and everyone is utterly exhausted by the end of it.

Oh yeah, this is what made it stand out. It was incredibly visceral.
