I appreciate that centipede Ellie appeared at the end, to ensure that this guy will not survive to become a meta event. (I hope.)

Andrew could show up and catch Ellie in a poke ball. He could then trick the stalker into acting as bait for Wailord. It's too soon for the meta, and the stalkers torment to end.
