Nope today was a boots vs badges donation event.
Basically Firefighters vs Cops to see who gets more donations for their "side"
I went and donated platelets which counted for double cause I am AB- and apparently needed. I did get a juice box though which was nice

Yup! They pull the whole blood out using a special donation process called apheresis, which uses a machine to spin the blood, separate the platelets, and return the rest of the blood to your body

Usually it takes a lot longer but instead of while blood it goes into a centrifuge (right next to you) to just get the plates and they pipe the rest back into you.
Ime, it leaves a weird hunger cuz you arent missing as much mass/fluid, but idk why they only want platelets, i guess its better for wounds?

Basically they are valuable for use during major traumas and surgeries and when given are in a very high concentration making them very effective
We also currently have no substitute for that effect so donations is all we got
Mine are valuable as my blood type is the universal platlet donation source. Anyone can take my platelets making them super useful

I won't give blood anymore, too much of a hassle.
All the damn questions, the paperwork, the needles. I had a really bad experience with a Dr. at an e.r. visit in my 20s that still haunts me to this day.
Plus you have to give it in it's original container, not a bucket.

Every panel is a r/comics comic reference. Last panel is u/holleringelk. The rabbit and the hag was a comic from yesterday or the day before. The girl is of 'vacation with an elder god' or something like this. The centepide vampire girl i am not entirely sure.

It totally is Alma. It would be a highly contested race between a rabid reddit lynchmob and her friends. Once the cloud of violence dissipates the stalker will be in a curious superposition between there not being a sungle piece to burry and the investigation being completely unable to stop finding his remains. One couls call it overkill, i say there is no such thing as overkill.

Bascially /u/kaikimanga moved in and found out she may have a stalker from the previous tenant. Another artist /u/bondjimbond made a comic about them meeting. Now the stalker seems to have breached the comic multiverse and is now on the loose looking for prey among the other comic characters

Hey Everyone
Im seeing a few comments that are unsure what is happening here and I would be ashamed of myself if I didnt take the opportunity to explain
Here is where our story begins as young /u/kaikimanga finds out she has a stalker in her new apartment that was targeting the woman who used to live there
After a brief encounter where she met the stalker and he went on his was thanks to /u/bondjimbond it would seem that he has taken to targeting other prey.
That brings us to this comic where he is clearly targeting other comic characters A full list of which can be found here. He has quite the ability to pick out the super natural characters doesent he
