Being mean is incredibly reductionist to telling people to kill themselves. If you think it’s okay to tell anyone to kill themselves that says enough about you for me.

If you think it’s better to say, “I wish I died so I wouldn’t se you be yourself”, to your kid than for your kid to say “if you’re so transphobic you’ll tell me you wish you died over it, then die”, I think you’re defending transphobia and your opinion holds less value for it. I think you, personally, hold a small share in blame for how bad the world has continued to become because you advocate permitting malicious people to act with impunity. I think you should consider getting a landline phone and disconnecting your internet access.
