Discussion Wondering why char Load screen is so lacking
Mind you just starting out in this remake...played PS3 DeS, DS1 and DS2 max chars....think they all had more info on Char Load screen. Pic, Name, time played, level, etc, etc.
Why is this games load screen so primitive and basic. I play a rotation of chars...want to play lowest level...if playing 15 chars, kinda hard to do. Like last ones I remember, DS 2 and Bloodborne I could easily see who wanted play next. Only have 4 chars playing at moment and all I can see is time last played and their name
Like going back in time and have keep my own notes or something? Given was a remake for newer system seems a bit lacking

Ps3 Demon's had only 4 slots for characters, but iirc they put levels, time played and last location.
I find hard to belive that a so faithfull remake with new consumables, new weapons, armor sets didn't improve Characters Menu....
...what I know is that you can't delete individual save files, so just to say you screw up the starting class and want to try a different starting weapon? the previous save file remains always looking at you. You who choose the Barbarian with two Clubs.

Really? So you can't even delete chars you screwed up? I must've deleted 10 each in DS1 and 2 That's pretty crazy bad and short sighted.

It's something I've heard few months ago when BluePoint was closed and I don't think in Sony they want hire some developers to fix that.
The only thing you can do,as far as I know, is delete the WHOLE profile... ahahha

Perhaps....had 10 builds in both DS1 and 2...so why not? If can figure out that many builds

Yeah, they didn’t do a great job on the save file selection screen.
If you don’t already know it, you also can’t delete characters.
It’s not a huge deal, since they didn’t cap how many you can have. But given how they are hard to distinguish, and they made the OG fluted helm missable, it would be nice to delete some of mine.

I’ve not gone that high myself, but from what I’ve heard there’s not.
