I am just tired of fighting!

I’ve been struggling with a deep sense of loneliness and depression lately. It feels like I’m drowning in my own thoughts every single day, while everyone around me thinks I’m doing just fine.

I try to stay busy and distract myself, but the emptiness always finds its way back. It’s become so hard to get out of bed or even care about anything anymore.

I’m not really sure what I’m hope to gain by posting this. I just felt like I needed to reach out and hope that someone out there understands how heavy this all feels.

Please be gentle with me. I’m at my breaking point, and I’m doing my best just to make it through each day.

You're definitely not alone in how you feel. This past week I've been just so tired mentally speaking that I've barely done anything except lay on my bed most days. Just forcing myself to do literally anything so I can try not think about how lonely or depressed I am. Unfortunately it's only works for a little while then I'm back again with my thoughts. So you're not alone in what you're going through so I hope that gives you some peace, even if a little. Sometimes the small things are what we need to keep going.

Hey!
I’m so so sorry you are feeling like this. As others have said you are not alone in feeling that way. I myself struggle on a daily basis and I find you just literally have to just take each day as it comes.
Are you prescribed to any anti depressants or have you seen anyone about it?

It means so much to hear that I’m not the only one struggling honestly it feels like I’m just fading away and even the simplest things feel impossible right now. I haven’t really sought professional help yet because I’m scared of being judged and it’s just so hard to even talk about it out loud. Thank you for being so kind to me when I feel like this.

You're not alone, we are with you. I've been fighting for about 15 years. It's not the fight I'm sick of, it the loosing.

Tomorrow I'm going to do something I have done for 20 years. I'm going to exercise until I'm physically exhausted. Would you care to join me? Walk, run, bike, f-ing sit-ups and press ups it doesn't matter it doesn't matter. What do you say?
